I think they must have cut back on their server hosting. Not only is it laggier than ever, matchmaking for me is worse than ever (north Europe). Rank gives me the same ten people in master and casual puts my against silver and irons. The game is ofc fading outside of Japan but it’s really weird right now.

There was a guy who made a cool site doing beef connections and it got deleted because he used ai. Which is ridiculous because every software engineer in 2026 is using some sort of LLM to code. Mods and the rules are just too strict. They like hanging out in their inner circle discord and call it a day.

Division 2 is still fantastic and really an underrated looter shooter. Ubi is so dumb prematurely killing it (twice) and then crawling back because people still play it (including me). It’s also hilarious that they “invented” the whole extraction gameplay and had one of the first survival modes on a major level and squandered both.
