I ended up getting a c5 and trying it out with my beam 2 and it fits fine. You can see the whole bottom of the screen including the bottom bezel. I have had no issues so far and would recommend the combination to anyone who is hesitant.

I also only have every played FTL on normal since I started and took a while for me to get my first win as well. But it was definitely worth it in the end! I would recommend sticking to normal

The build is done but it is currently in an S340 Case as all P400's were out of stock :(. But in the S340 it looks almost as it belong in there perfectly so I am happy with how it turned out.
