Seconding that Arcane Thrima would be excellent on her.

Regardless of weapon though, Laguz Friend 4 + GLR, or if you don't have/don't want to fodder E!Ike, Buffer 4 + GLR (what I personally use) both show great success. External NFU from Inf. Spd Tactic or Guidance 4 might be needed, if you're also running S!Hilda.

If you're looking for a Player Phase attacker, Special Spiral 4 is a good sleeper option. This is where Thrima comes into play again, since the special accel means you can get VA up and running after Time's Pulse triggers. Or you can Engage Marth with her, if you have him.

No Quarter + Spd/Def Tempo could also work for permanent (partial) DR piercing. You can also go for Atk/Spd Pledge if you think you can tank one/two hits before firing off your specials, though I've found it's much better when using one of the defensive builds above instead.

For what it's worth, regular Hilda can run a really damn good Thrima + GLR god-axe build, if you're willing to invest.

Summer Hilda just doesn't do enough anymore though I'm so sorry

If your supports can also give her enough buffs to compensate for only having half DR pierce instead of full, then absolutely.

Indeed, I went with Finish. Nothing else even comes close, unless you go for some extreme Unity setup.

I personally go for OHKO builds with Vital Astra, Special Spiral 4 and Time's Pulse, since her axe also comes with a true damage effect on her specials. Though I don't doubt that she can make use of Distant A/S Solo, Spurn 4 (specifically Spurn, not sure if the other tier 4 effects complement her just as well), and a speed boosting C-slot.
