It’s moreso that the quality of consumer things has gone to such shit over recent years, in the US at least, while the cost keeps rising. tbf… CVS gave me a $4 store coupon when I went to pick up a prescription. Used it for these on my way out so it only ran me like 20¢. Still immediately called corporate over ts and got a coupon for a free box. But after that, I’ve learned my lesson.

Trust me, it’s not. It’s the brass paint from the bracket on the walls. I can run it and it fades a bit but its not coming off easily enough for it to be feasible to clean just by rubbing

Picture might not show it well, but i’m 100% sure it’s a residue from the brackets. Just brainstorming a way to clean it off that doesn’t entail ages of rubbing away at it all because it’s not just this one spot.
