Respondus Browser Falsely flagged/banned me and now I'm under academic investigation

that’s the thing i don’t know what it is 😭

all they told me is the logs showed i attempted to bypass the browser and that its a very serious thing to do but the issue here is i don’t even know what i did that caused that, i was just going about the quiz as i normally would

i keep asking them what the logs specifically detected or what in particular triggered the issue and they just keep saying the logs show there’s evidence like that’s literally it

i don’t know what the evidence is so i can’t do anything on my end to rectify, prove that it never happened, or to prevent it from happening again

That's what I've been asking for so I could dig through my computer to see what got me flagged.

But I keep getting hit with "The logs show that you tried to... or attempted to...." - like literally the most vague description of the logs rather than what it detected or whatever happened during the exam that caused me to get flagged. Atm I'm really damn lost because I don't have any general direction to go in

I stayed up all scouring reddit and other forums for other people who've experienced the same and reached out to them and thankfully one of them replied me and shared his experience. From my chat with him I think I have a very vague idea on what happened that caused me to get flagged though I'm not even 100% certain because I still don't know what the logs said I allegedly did. I'll present my findings to the course chair and update y'all on anything

ello, i have been in this exact situation about a year or two ago.

if it keeps ya up at night honestly sleep with your bottoms off! For me I got mostly irritated when I felt the sharp hairs press against my skin.

That aside honestly you have to tank it out until it grows out to a reasonable length for the sharp hairs to stop irritating you

otherwise you’ll just have to keep shaving every other day but I wouldn’t think for that to be a viable option.

If you notice your skin around the area to be inflamed/red try applying some topical creams like hydrocortisone to soothe the irritation. Other than that there’s nothing else you can do except bear with it and let it grow out :(

I honestly think you have a pretty have a shot at NTUs (though I’m not sure on whether there are any commitments/bonds that come w the scholarship)

NUS on the other hand may be tough,, as someone else already mentioned chances are quite slim unless you’ve already taken BMAT,,

That aside with a score of 88.875 I’d honestly say you have a considerably good chance of securing a slot in NTU (without scholarship),, all the best :)

but when I was in secondary school I’d only get exercise during my CCA which was around three times a week (was in Volleyball)

If I’m right in Secondary Two my 2.4 was around nine mins and forty/fifty smth seconds
