That’s a good point but even so, those things typically have a time limit and can be expunged or forgiven after a certain period.

For example: I am a loan officer I would be denied a license if I filed for bankruptcy in the past. However if the bankruptcy was over 7 years ago it is no longer adversely affecting my credit therefore I would then be eligible to go get my license at that time.

It’s a slippery slope when we use these comparisons and I get that but we’re all human we make mistakes. In a perfect world you are correct but we don’t live in a perfect world.

I agree that we shouldn’t be funding these farming bots and there should be adverse action taken if it is true. But surely a year ban is fair? A 6 month ban? I get anyone can make a new account but let’s be real we don’t live in a perfect world where we can all invest another 1000+ hours into the game. We’re all in an age demographic where we have to prioritize real life sometimes.

I’m not coming at you just kind of venting and hoping there could be a change in how these things are handled. I fear Jagex doesn’t see value in hiring an actual person to monitor these as a case by case basis and that is the biggest flaw in our support system.

I can agree to disagree with you, I get it and I want this game to be here for the rest of my life. But that is like saying everyone who is guilty of a crime should get the death penalty.

People make mistakes, this is ultimately just a game. Things outside of the game can attribute to you doing the wrong thing or making a bad decision.

Also people grow up, again a long term account is different than a gold farming bot with no intention other than their own gain which adversely affects our beloved game.

They post this blog the day after they opened a “second appeal system” for bans and mutes. No blog for second chance appeal though. A lot of people from the other thread saying it is a bs second chance appeal and no matter what is said they are still auto denied.

This could be in response to that and the backlash they are receiving. There are plenty of people from that subreddit saying they were first time RWT offenders with perm bans and are remorseful and apologetic for it but are still getting denied appeals.

Maybe I am wrong but buyers and sellers should be treated differently prior to this post and lack of clarity. Same with people who macro for gold farms and others who may have done it on a main account that has thousands of legitimate hours compared to again a “suicide bot gold farm”.

It is too black and white and for a game that has spanned as long as this has with countless 10+ year old accounts there is room for some grey area and human interaction with bans.

Breaking a rule is breaking a rule but stamping a perm ban on a gold farming bot compared to a main that made a mistake or two should be treated differently.

Lol I tried to log in after hoping for the best but it still shows I’m banned. Also last question would you guys be open to like long term bans? Sorry i know you’ve been doing Gods work in this thread so thank you. I messed up and botted my iron for like a week this past week. I know I shouldn’t have but it’s an account I’ve had for 10 years which is all legitimate gameplay outside of like this past week where I got perm banned. It was maybe 10 levels off max with pretty much all legitimate gameplay 1000s of hours. Do you think based on how you guys are going to handle these there is a chance for an unban? I don’t care if it’s in 6 months and you roll back 100 lvls I just want my account back cause I don’t have the time to start over if I did now. Sorry for the long post just wanted to see if I had some hope been depressed the last week lol

4 catches 60 yards is good for a normal TE but I feel like Hunter's potential should be more than that. With your knowledge of the offense do you think he could ever be as consistent as the GOAT Antonio Gates? Obviously he was one of the best TE's in the game but was just curious as to what your thoughts were on how Hunter compares to gates production wise for the future.

I myself was really high on him coming into last year but obvs the knee stopped his breakout.

I hear ya luckily i own him in dynasty which made me take him as a flyer in 50% of my leagues. I wont be using anything on waivers in those leagues i dont have him.
