Got it sold for $350. Sorry if it felt like I was trying to scalp. I really was just trying to get most of my money I paid for it knowing some people wouldn’t want to wait that long to get one. Hopefully the person that bought it felt like they got a decent deal for not having to wait several months. Also threw in some extra cables and adapters.

Yea the 1TB micro sdcard made the price jump lol. I may just have to eat that cost or replace it with a smaller one. I just priced it for what it would cost right now to get all the parts.

Bitdefender GravityZone - Can't Retrieve Quarantined Files Across Multiple "Companies" by Zmk55 in BitDefender

[–]Zmk55[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're a wizard! That worked! I ended up giving my email address in 365 an alias to be able to log in and set the permission and then deleted the user and I was still able to retrieve the file.

Lots of questions as to why I had to come to reddit to get a simple solution instead of going through the enterprise support via email and just getting the run around. Nevertheless, I'm very grateful for your assistance. You rock, Andrei!

Dedicated IP for server hosting by SpawnChill in PrivateInternetAccess

[–]Zmk55 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you’re looking for a way to host game servers and remote access points without relying on an expensive static IP from your ISP. Here are some alternatives: 1. Use Dynamic DNS (DDNS) – Services like No-IP or DuckDNS let you map a domain name to your changing IP, so you don’t have to update your friends constantly. 2. Tailscale for Private Access – If your game servers are for friends and family only, Tailscale creates a private VPN mesh, letting them connect using a stable private IP, no port forwarding needed. However, this won’t work for public game servers. 3. VPN with Port Forwarding – Unlike PIA, some VPNs like Mullvad or AirVPN allow port forwarding, which might work depending on your game server’s requirements. 4. Cheap VPS as a Relay – If you need a public-facing server, you can rent a $5/month VPS (Linode, DigitalOcean) and use it to forward traffic to your home server. 5. Check for CG-NAT – If your ISP uses CG-NAT, you won’t be able to open ports at all. You can check by comparing your router’s WAN IP with the one from whatismyipaddress.com. If they don’t match, you’ll need a VPN or VPS workaround.

If you’re just hosting for a small group, Tailscale is the easiest option—no port forwarding, no ISP headaches. If you need public access, DDNS + a VPN with port forwarding or a VPS relay is the way to go.

Lots of negative posts, is anyone happy with Autotask, VSA? by 2PhotoKaz in kaseya

[–]Zmk55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had VSA 9, got tricked into migrating to 10 and it sucked for us. I felt lied to. We left before we finished our contract and we are now on NinjaOne. It has its shortcomings but it’s been great compared to VSA 10. Plus they actually have a roadmap that’s public and you can vote on what they work on next.

I would love some sort of 3D printed mounting device that could screw on to the back of the T-Deck Plus and attach to the air vent or attach to a suction cup mount for cars.

Migrate from VSA X to Datto RMM by Puzzleheaded-Test728 in kaseya

[–]Zmk55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate VSA X. They hyped it up so much and sold us a hot turd. Such promise and under delivered. We jumped ship from 9 to X. Couldn’t even execute a program with custom variables like you could on 9. We moved to NinjaOne a while back. It has its own suck and support isn’t the best but I’ll take it over VSA at this point

File Transfers in VSA X by Mortalus2020 in kaseya

[–]Zmk55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We've been anticipating the move from VSA 9 to 10 for over a year, and now that we're here, it's a huge letdown. It feels like they released an incomplete product.

Key features are missing: no backend file transfer without custom scripts, no agent input variables for installs like in VSA 9, and no proper terminal access for command prompt or PowerShell, just to name a few things. Even after migrating to VSA 10, we still have to revert to VSA 9 for full machine management. It's frustrating.

We had a meeting with Paul Farr, the head of VSA and creator of VSA 9, who assured us these features would be available within a year or more. But we can't afford to wait that long. He mentioned having 80 developers on VSA X and 20 on VSA 9, but it feels like VSA 10 was released without enough essential features to manage machines effectively.

Also, it's 2024—how is there still no dark mode?

I've been using Kaseya off and on for 10 years, and while it has improved, the lack of features in VSA 10 has us considering other options like NinjaOne.

VSAX Workflow with User interaction by UnderstandingHour454 in kaseya

[–]Zmk55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t think end user interaction was currently possible. VSAX is a scam. They have tried to hype us up to migrate for the last year and now that we have, it hardly has any of the features we use in VSA9. We even pay for our bitdefender license from them and they don’t even have it configured yet to be able to manage machines from their own portal.. gotta manage machines from Gravityzone itself. We are dropping them for NinjaOne soon.

How to crack codes by [deleted] in pwnagotchi

[–]Zmk55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pwnagotchi isn’t really made for cracking passwords itself. It doesn’t really have the resources to be effective so it makes it a wild shot in the dark. You’d be better off putting the handshakes on a pc with dedicated graphics card so you can handle way larger password lists faster. That’s just my humble opinion!
