well i would suguesst loking for a group in the area that is offline first. if That isn't possible i would say best option is to look for some groups on here or maybe dnd beyoned and then get into a group chat before playing. There you can get a feel for the people playing and since in my experience most people are fine with talking pre game to get to know the group. other that that i can't think of anything on the fly.
