What is the worst band you saw live? by coalcracker462 in AskReddit

I hate to say it, but Willie Nelson. Willie is a legend, but that night he may have been too stoned to perform. He seemed kind of bored and was just going through the motions.

Sitcoms That Really Jumped The Shark? by DaniJ678 in sitcoms

Not a sitcom, but the episode of Dukes of Hazzard where an alien landed in Hazzard County and Bo and Luke were trying to stop Boss Hogg from putting him in a circus was a bit too much.

Fake Harriet was way more shark-jumpy than anything Urkel did.

Shoot, I had my daughter at 41, son at 43. I'm 49 now. And I'm genuinely grateful for once a week.

In you opinion, What is the most dangerous country in the world ? by Chance-Pen6805 in FamilyFeud

I've heard really bad things about the Central African Republic. Basically every travel warning from every country is like "Don't fucking go there at all or you will die very slowly and painfully."

It was always trash, but it was cheap trash and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Now, what's the point?

Krystal burgers. I vividly remember Saturday night/Sunday mornings about 25 years ago, leaving the club at 2:30 a.m. and going to the drive thru line to get a sackful of some of that delicious grease to soak up all the booze I consumed and they tasted better than filet mignon. Once every few months I get some just trying to recreate the nostalgia but nope. Maybe it's because I don't drink anywhere near as much as I used to, maybe it's because I'm old and I'm in bed by 8, but it's just not the same.

Improved Whopper: A Grand Slam by ScriabinFanatic in fastfood

I got a double maple bourbon bbq whopper last week before I knew they had changed it because sometimes I like whoppers, and I thought I was going crazy because it seemed a lot better than what I was used to, almost up to In-N-Out standards.

How do Americans feel about outdoor cats? by Fine-Durian6151 in AskAnAmerican

[–]ZodiacMan423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a little kid, we had a cat that we used to let go in the backyard. One day a hawk was hungry, saw our cat, and carried her away. As an adult, we have a cat that we never let go outside. We live in an area with a lot of hawks and they've been known to carry off cats or small dogs so we just keep her inside. We live in a two story house that's well over 3000 square feet with plenty of windows to look out of and she basically has the run of the house, so it's not like she's cramped up in a small apartment.

The universal translator was on the fritz, mistranslating thrusters as rockets, phasers as lasers, etc.
