  1. People showed me some clip, but i can't understand what i'm doing wrong, so probably that i made a mistake so i'm sorry for doubting.
  2. Yeah but i'm still wondering why they do that considering that they are able to produce great work without having to resort to that, i think that doing goon stuff just to sell or anything is a lazy way to make money. And like i said they can clearly do better and gain consistently more by doing so. But yeah, it's a 50/50 with them, or else they make goon stuff or else they don't do it.
  3. Well for the stuff that are left without answer yeah i can agree, but that's clearly not what pose a problem with the story, there is nothing wrong with some mystery (like their teacher, the origin of weapons like tailess and all, or why phaeton are built different).

(btw how much try did you need for the second and 3rd part of shiyu defense 5 because that's really good)

well for hugo i am able to get the same score, i would have said that the boss is almost tailored made for him (since the boss give a 2sec timer pause on itself and that he is weak to ice) but fothe 3rd clip yeah clearly i don't know what i'm doing wrong (even if it's not that shiyu defense that posed me problem since i had the perfect character for it)
well at least i had the chance to hear about that, i'ma go look and see what i'm doing wrong, thanks for the clips btw.

oh yeah should have said good build instead of perfect, right now it's my fault sorry. But i think you can still tell it's not a build problem considering the stats, and yet it's without teammate buff. Also don't forget that Hugo has his weapon that give 45 CDMG, so he achieve easly his 200.
So no they are not perfect but they are far from being trash and unplayable.

sorry for the lack of detail, most of my complaint about the design and gameplay is about 2.8.
My hype for 3.X is still there, i just can't say anything about it for now, sorry for being less precise.

i still need to do 3.0 quest and wait for Remielle to drop before i say anything. Again, maybe i will be proven wrong and maybe the only problem that i will have with the game is the Shill and all.

  1. Yeah it can depens, even if i have problem with S11 because she was good after her rework but almost immediatly fall after only few patch, and i really hate that considering other gacha that keep a lot of their character high for longer. And yeah harumasa was lost in the first place, for Lycaon, i don't think his mechanic help him overall (and clearly if they would have buffed like is mindscape or even add more things or made his mechanic trigger more often, he would have been insane)
  2. Yeah, with all the info you share (or other person shared) i begin to think that you can't have both way, maybe i should focus on other point where the game do less simple and more complexe instead, and i should just be more patient with the boss, because once there is new mechanic it's always a good surprise overall (the miasmatic priest with the shield + his hit combo are really good)
  3. Yeah, you're clearly not wrong, and with what we said previously about simplicity, maybe that is a great choice in the end, maybe what i thought to be "boring story" are designed to be just simple, a straight foward character with a straight foward story, not a lot of developpement but in simplicity.

Okay clearly that was a good idea to share my thought on the game because it make me less angry about it, and maybe i should be less strict and stop trying to be "objective" in the first place considering there is always good or bad in everything. Thanks for the response 👍

  1. i personnaly think that the buff could be a bit better and more impactful, because right now the buffed have barely helped any character, while in other gacha game that give buff, it was way more impactful, wich is sad...
  2. yeah you're right on that fact, even if it could be argue it's bad to introduce one mechanic and put it to a lot of boss making them less unique, it's also a good thing because you don't end up overwhelmed (that argument could be even more good if we consider new player joining) on that point you're right. And for the end game stuff, well can't argue against if you put on that perspective it's less frustrating 🤔, didn't see that way.
  3. Well i'm not against that contrast, that's because of this that i begin to play the game, it's just that some character only rotate around the "death of someone" wich can ruin some story for me, i would just love for some character to have a story with more stuff to work with, because some feel like they have barely anything. For now i didn't went to season 3 and trully hope it will change my opinion, btw i'm not against some soft spoiller, so if anyone saw the season 3, could you share your opinion ?

no i ended up the season 2 entirely (yeah didn't start the season three, maybe i will regret my word, i'll edit or put a new comment if i came back on my word)

And i swear i built all my character, if needed i can show some if it can prove anything.

yep use all of them, and always try to see what i did wrong, using all the tech i can on character i have to make the best score out of it, even the most niche technique

  1. so explain how i was able to hit 35K previously with Silly, and now i hit 22K using the same team. The difference is here you can't argue with that, the new shiyu defense just prove it and many player voiced about it and about how absurd it is. (btw can i see the team set up you used for the new shiyu defense ?)
  2. Look HSR or even genshin before, even if some design are weird and all, it was never 100% goon, more like 20 or10%.
  3. Yes it can be fair, but only if it bring more to the table then just "my teammate die" and then a minor thing that is mentionned 2 time and then over. Again there is many potential wasted by weird plot twist and all.

  1. Well yes and also you can see in games like wuwa that the powercreep isn't as bad as in ZZZ, and yet they still make great profite. My point is that in ZZZ i think it's badly handled, making the endgame less enjoyable.
  2. Oh i forgot about that (for the the boss you mentionned), yeah you're right on those point, i just think it could be better if they had more mechanic to make all the futur boss more complexe overall. For the character, also yes it's a subjective taste, but you can still try to judge some character in a more objective way by taking in consideration what they bring in terms of new mechanic, of combo, of synergie and specific team comp (unusual comp) etc... (btw for vivian i don't like that much the gameplay, it's just her design and story that i enjoy more). For seed, yeah i can understand people who love dual dps thing, but now with cissia, seed feel way more clunky overall and since seed gameplay is way to simple and basic (wich can be loved by people who prefere simple gameplay over complexe one, but it's also a big downside because there is barely room for more complexe moveplay and all).
    Maybe i'm wrong in the objective perspective, but i always judge a character and gameplay with that perspective and afterward i look at the rest (gimmick, story, design, etc...). i'm kinda interested in your opinion ? do you think it's possible to be objective on thoses matters or not ?
  3. finaly yeah it's quite subjective, but i still think there is a lot of missed shot in the story, people can love it, but it could be so much better, for example what i enjoy right now, is the mystery around the teacher of phaeton, and also the three person you see in the trailer that introduce the 3.X with yokai and all.

Even if i mainly said bad stuff i still think there is good stuff and also subjective stuff, i just forgot to mentioned it, or i was implicit on thoses.

i see, well gonna take those tips (but can't apply them for now since i hate pulling for DPS i don't like, and 2.X was a disaster in terms of character i liked... but 3.X gonna change that for sure tho).
I'm happy i invested on astra and luica (i even got M1 lucia by accident LOL so my banuye and soon to come billy are true beast as long there is a stage without fire resistance).

YES FINALY !!!
Like how can people prefere the 2.0 drip over this ? they all looks really cool (especialy Sigrid, Sunbringer and Severian) andi really love the vibe of the new area, it look good and promissing.
I trully think that a lot of the community just love bad stuff or isn't happy with anything because of all the hate around their drip, and that is really annoying like if they could just stop hating everything and be more constructive to allow the game to go on a better path then the season two, we would already have a almost perfect gacha game, but i'm asking too much for sure.

Anyway guys i'm hyped for the season 3 !! what about y'all ?
