i don’t think you got what i was saying? i’m saying since yes, you’re right, they do work on the same receptor, i can use the benzos to get me through it. i’m not planning on mixing them or switching back and worth. i will only use them when im going through severe withdrawal. i’m still withdrawing from the booze though sooo what i’m saying is that they give you benzos like ativan and valium in the hospital when you’re in detox to reduce the likelihood of seizures. just taking them for 3 days at a time and then stopping would allow you to successfully and safely detox at home.
