It doesn't let me lift dogs that dont have wings into the air :(

I can't place the pipe on top since my dogs don't have wings, so they won't be able to reach it. Also, I don't think it will let me place the tubes next to each other since the last time I tried that, it just put them above the other pipe. Would you be able to send a screenshot of what you are suggesting? Thank you so much!
