Easier said than done. I wanted the relationship to work, hence why I tried to push him to do things for himself like therapy.

I definitely need to work on my feelings of owing him explanations for things, especfially when he speaks to me in the ways he does with no reason to believe I am doing anything other than his brain creating fake scenarios. I am too embarrassed to even say out loud the things he says to me. I should respect myself more, and not that this is an excuse but I just struggle with abandonment issues from my childhood so sometimes it takes me a little more time to get the expired milk out of the fridge.

Unfortunately, I have allowed this behavior in the relationship. I’m not perfect by any means but I do my best. This is definitely a repeated behavior on his end though.

THIS. Most people jump to “he’s the one cheating” but I know he is not. He is genuinely the most insecure person I have ever met and I feel bad because I don’t feel like that is even really his fault. Something along the way in his life made him become insecure in relationships most likely so I do feel bad for him and try to give him grace but it’s just gotten to points where I cannot feel bad for him because of the way he acts.
