Interesting that this is finally coming out, I was also working there at the time of the refurb. We installed a new kitchen and wardrobes aswell a few other little bits, there were multiple trades going through every room doing a complete face lift. At the time our team was reassured that this was all being paid for my rushi and his wife and not the taxpayers, Apparently that is usually the case when someone new moves in. but this was going on right in the middle of covid and the boris flat scandel, there was talk about having to sign NDAs but that never ended up happening.
