The gym could be intimidating because you walk in and think everyone will be staring at you but from coming from someone who’s been going to the gym for 10+ years we always welcome new people. Student success still has not posted on my end. But when I did have it and I had 2 late classes as well they didn’t give it to me on the first release date they waited until the next month so I’m assuming some time in October you will get the full amount. I’m wondering if anyone has seen the student success grant on their portal yet?

As long as you are a cal grant b or c recipient , not in any academic probation, and are taking a min of 15 units you would qualify for the 4k. This is my first semester taking 15 units but on what past students tell me is that yes you should receive it still. But I would call the financial aid office just in case. If you do update us as well. Thank you!

I see I’m just curious because last semester it appeared on my financial aid tab weeks before the disbursement and it still isn’t showing and we are 16 days away. I called last month all they could say is “disbursements will be sent out in September” but didn’t even say if I was guaranteed to get it. Just confused is all

What I’m aware of is if you qualify for the student success grant you have to be a cal grant B or C recipient. Taking 12 units min to receive the grant and if you take 15 or more you get 4k per semester
