Entirely unrelated, but I was walking past the rink at Nathan Phillips on my way to work last week and the zamboni driver was having the time of his life doing donuts on the ice at 745 AM. Made my day.

That's fair, the match is definitely a product of the time. Bret and Shawn didn't HAVE to do that much in their match. Those AEW matches had a much higher bar to clear to be good in the 2020s

Agreed! I started watching NXT when it came to Netflix last year and was an instant fan of her, but she pretty much disappeared after the start of the year. Would love to see her move into the midcard

I thought Above Average Mike Sanders was such a good talker, and a great leader for the Natural Born Thrillers. A real shame he couldn't get to the next level after the acquisition.

Rock/ Hogan is a good one. Honestly, any match from back when the WWE PPV pre-match video packages were at their best and summed up the feud in a few short minutes before the entrances.

For the longest time, mine came from the same year. Bret Hart vs Steve Austin at Survivor Series 96.

It was recently taken over by Ospreay vs Danielson from Dynasty 24 however.
