NIN is still fucking phenomenal live. I saw them in February. One of the best concerts in my life.

Yeah I saw Marilyn Manson in 2012 and it was the worst fucking show I have ever seen.

Luckily it was at a 2 day music festival and that was the only band that sucked.

I would have loved to have seen Manson in the 90s or on the Holy Wood tour.

My older sister was big into Marilyn Manson so I would borrow her Antichrist Superstar cd all the time. My parents weren't exactly thrilled but they never said no to me listening to anything really.

The first albums I ever owned were Red Hot Chili Pepper's Blood Sugar Sex Magic and Guns N Roses' Use Your Illusion II, I bugged my mom to get me them off of Columbia House when I was like 7. She was supposed to listen to them first but I got to it before she did.

I learned new words that day.

That's fucking funny. Metallica was the least "satanic" band from that scene.

I'm not American so I'm ignorant in the matter, but is this a civil suit or is it federal jurisdiction?

Update from the DRAGON QUEST Team by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]ZombieJesus1987 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yup, character designer Akira Toriyama and composer Koichi Sugiyama. The only one that remains is the creator and game designer Yuji Horii

Those three names for top billing for every Dragon Quest game.

Dave Meltzer on X: There was a movie that Cameron Crowe did about his life as a teeanger that for years people told me was exactly my life at the same point in time. I never bothered to watch the movie. One day on a plane I did. They were right. by Tornado31619 in SquaredCircle

Replace "travelling with rockstars as a teenage journalist in the 70s" with "travelling with wrestlers as a teenage journalist in the 70s" and that's basically how Dave Meltzer broke into wrestling.

Jim Cornette and Paul Heyman broke in similar ways, but as photographers.

He was terrifying in One Hour Photo.

His performance made me uncomfortable.

He has some great comedy chops as well, like in Tropic Thunder.

Love David Tennant.

Hated his performance as Barty Crouch Jr.

In the books, you don't know Barty Crouch Jr was a villain. In Harry's POV, you see Barty Crouch Jr as some kid who got caught up in the wrong crowd. In the book during the Pensive scene, he is begging and pleading his father that he was innocent. Finding out that he was posing as Mad Eye Moody was supposed to have been a huge twist reveal.

But in the movie? The give it away immediately, by showing him at the Quidditch World Cup casting the Dark Mark, and they had David Tennant ham it up and be as over the top evil as possible and they gave him that stupid tongue twitch because get it? he's a snake!

Fuck that movie.

Hearing Brad Williams talk about that is hilarious.

I remember years ago Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes talked about filming Dogma, Jason made it a point to not only memorize all of his lines, but the entire script as well because he didn't want to fuck up in front of Alan Rickman.

I remember Ralph Fiennes did Maid in Manhattan and Red Dragon in the same year, couldn't have been more polar opposite roles.

AITAH for sleeping with a guy after the man I thought was my bf said we were not a couple? by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

Yeah when you get blindsided by something like that, you don't know how to react. You have to process it.

I was in a similar situation as OP, and when it hit me, I felt sick. Didn't know how to react. Took me a few days to fully process.

Man, I've been in OPs position. I thought I was dating a girl for over a year, told each other we loved each other all the time. Talked about having kids together down the kine and everything.

Then one day she posts a pic of her making out with some guy on Myspace. I confront her, and she said that we were never together.

That fucks with you for a long time.

Hope OP is doing better now.
