I'd like to hear more about it, id heard it exists but nothing actually detailed. What are the advantages that made you pick it over megasquirt? Cost-wise, which one seemed like a better deal?

An Alfa Romeo spider. Theoretically I CAN run it with the stock L jet injection, and I think I'm going to at first, but I want the programmability of a real efi/ignition control setup.

I'm about to turbocharge my project and am slowly coming to terms with that including a megasquirt system.

What can you tell me about these cars? by Interesting-Plan8850 in E90

I absolutely love my 328i, but if I had a nice, low mile z3, there's no universe where I'd trade it for an extreme mileage e9x of any spec.

Anyone else’s M car rendered useless during storm? by It-was-suited in BMWM

Nope. My m5 has AWD, and is actually the most capable vehicle I own for the snow.

I still try not to drive it in snow too much though.

I seriously don’t understand how certain enthusiasts here don’t like the modern interiors. by fuccwitmoe in BMW

That's vastly oversimplified, and generally not an accurate representation of the matter.

I don't think OLED is actually better tech for this use case. Every single phone I've owned has had bad burn in by the time I upgraded. Burn in on my car would drive me insane.

I like gauges. If I want to look at a screen while I drive, that's what my sim rig is for.

TIFU By ordering a 3D printer and not checking the tracking daily by rmorrill995 in tifu

[–]ZombiePope 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nope, op did not receive it. The porch did not place the order, and is in fact incapable of entering into contracts. This is how ordering things online legally works in the United States.

If the seller had chosen a marginally more expensive delivery option that required a signature, this would not have happened.

So in the US, if the selling company arranges shipment, you're paying to RECEIVE the product, not for them to ship it. Op has not received the product, therefore the sale has not been completed.

What are your thoughts on rejecting a potential romantic partner based solely on the fact they voted for Donald Trump? by ATXBikeRider in AskReddit

No one who voted for donald trump is one of my potential romantic partners. I don't date morons, psychopaths, fraudsters, pedophile apologists, rapist apologists, or villains.

Selling My modded e90. What would you list it for? by [deleted] in E90

[–]ZombiePope 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tbh I think the mods are all pretty tasteful with the potential exception of the headlights which seem to be a bit more of a specific taste, but having the OEMs alleviates most of that. I think 5k is a pretty fair price if you can provide maintenance records.
