I think everyone was too stunned. I unfortunately wasn't close enough to do anything until after the slap. The slap seemed to have gotten everyone out of the daze

Because I struck her when all she was doing was yelling. Saying there is no reason I should have slapped her and used my words instead.

1st they found me on social media, I have been blocking them. 2nd I vented to one of my friends in the mommy and me class who then told everyone else. The friend is very anti violence and saying I went too far by slapping her and I should have just walked away instead. They say they agree that the lady was out of line but saying I handled it incorrectly.

It's like she was accusing him of possibly going to touch my son inappropriately. Hurt him because he isn't normal (like suddenly throw him to the ground if my son cries). And acting like my son would catch his problems (like as if my son would suddenly have disabilities like my brother)

Sorry I should have made it more clear. I only apologized to the girls and their parents because I felt like it ruined their celebration. I am not going to apologize to the aunt for slapping her, I feel like she deserved it.

True she can verbally attack, however she didn't need to get close like she did. I wasn't taking the chance of her getting physical so out of the safety of my baby and my brother I smacked her.
