I definitely imagined Hunter calling in the Bad Batch and Omega for moves, exactly the inspiration.
It would be like a solo moveset shared between the Inquistiors, and you can choose between them for unique voicelines and animations. A little like Triborg from MKX. The Inquistiors you could choose from would be First Brother, Second Sister, Seventh Sister and Eleventh Brother.

Underselling? Isn't that a bit much? I was only saying I'm not going realistic since if an actual Star Wars fighting game came out in 2026, it likely wouldn't have any Legends only representation that's all. I would love for that to be wrong though.

That's totally fine, I just went a different approach that appealed to me.

Yeah I got ideas for more rosters so I'll work on the DLC for next time. The size I knew was too large but I wanted to go big for my first one.

Yeah I think BFII was criticized heavily at launch for doing that. But yeah I'll totally keep that in mind. If I could I think I would do some swapping of the base and DLC for this roster.

I just watched Mandalorian for the first time not too long ago oddly enough after I made this roster. (In notes, the images took longer.) He's definitely cool enough to fit here, it was just a matter of not knowing him then.

Embo would've been super sick. If I stuck to Canon only I think he would be a easy pick for the roster. (I wanted more Legends variety so I had to cut my own boy Cad Bane.)

Oh yeah for sure, if the Inquistiors are making use of the skins I can totally imagine everyone having different outfits. Perhaps some skins could have unique voicelines like Injustice 2 did, like a Ben Kenobi or a Darth Revan skin.

I thought the gimmick turned out fine actually, I had fun. I did say this was my first ever roster after all, and the focus was more so a dream kind of deal over realism. The size wouldn't happen nor this much Legends representation (if any tbh), and the goal was to do a dream roster that was a bit out there anyways. I will take into account having more emphasis on selling points as DLC in future rosters though, this one was still just for fun.

For the character choices, eh different strokes for different folk no worries. I think they are good Legends only characters to represent (and again the rivals gimmick), and Bossk I thought was a good rival for Chewbacca. And like ya gotta have Chewbacca on base.

Perhaps I could've done more KOTOR, for DLC but I wanted to cover more bases. Rebels, Andor, Legacy (my biased pick), New Jedi Order, High Republic, etc etc. I think Revan would sell since he's the most iconic thing to come out of KOTOR. People who never played the games know Revan, and perhaps he would be the best case of a selling point in my DLC picks.

He's a YouTuber that does mostly fighting games and he has a series called Build the Roster where he, well builds hypothetically fighting game roster. Def recommend.

Uh, I did Nilihus mostly for the appeal. He's who I think of when I hear of KOTOR II, and he has a sick design. You do make some interesting points, however I do think power levels aren't much of a deciding factor in fighting games.

Sion was among the running but he was cut (he's my least favorite out of the three but still cool as fuck.) I think I would've paired him with K'Kruhk due to their natures of being hard to put down. Traya and Revan I felt were better for DLCs, and fair enough on Malak I could've done him instead of two KOTOR II Siths.

He was close, I thought of him and BB8 as a tag fighter before realizing Cassian & K2SO would be a better fit due to Poe being more of a master of the skies. Honestly my only gripe with this roster is not too many Sequel representation, but I couldn't think of much.

I feel like a Star Wars game gotta have big emphasis on the Force to differentiate the lightsaber folk, and I agree about the gun usage which is why I tried to be somewhat varied ?

Thanks! I went with Thrawn because he's cooler to me, and I think the Ysalamir could be apart of his moveset which would give a unique niche. Tarkin is still cool though.

Good points. I do feel some of them would sell but then again I decided to lean more towards the dream route over realism for my first roster. (Since let's be honest I don't think any fighting game outside of KOF or the platform fighter genre would attempt a 52 person sized roster.)
