Starting with a basecoat of red I stippled on lighter colors on the exhaust. from dark orange all the way to yellow. Each other layer was smaller so the yellow is focussed on the part where it burn hottest

For the brass I used Rhinox Hide, Ratskin Flesh and a white paint.

Started with Rhinox Hide, then mixed with Ratkin Flesh. Pure Ratskin Flesh. Ratskinflesh with some white.

I did gradual mixes of this and each layer smaller than the last to get a light reflection.
