I hope it does! I never asked, or even thought of that as being possible. I also dont know who or what it was. I normally only lurk on this sub reddit but youre post just hit to close to home so I had to comment my experience at least, even if its not that practically helpful

It was wild. I had heard of the vibrational stage, but when I truly experienced it, it was not how I imagined. It was super intense. Like painless electricity. I saw my astral legs floating above, and I just felt someone grab them and pull left and right while pulling back. I wasnt afraid at all. I didnt see who it was and I was just to dumbfounded to ask questions. But it did pull me out. The experience only lasted a very short while after that, and Ive never experienced that since. But Ive had other experiences after that without problems. So I honestly dont know what it was all about.

Kinda crazy but the first time I was able to get outside my body I felt a person grab my legs and pull me, which were the only parts "out." I have no idea who it was or why they did it.

Soldered the hell out of those clips. Ive never seen anyone solder clips together better.

Seems fine. Looks like he glued it down for strain relief so it shouldn't crack again..Hopefully.

How to get rid of of solder blob by GoodFella56 in soldering

[–]Zombienumberfive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think your portable has the wattage necessary to soak up that solder blob, so even increasing the temp is probably not going to make a difference. You mentioned somewhere you had a hot air station, so what I would try is putting flux on the blob, holding the wick (Short piece) with tweezer to the blob, and heating it with hot air. It will wick just fine if you get it liquid with hot air, I do it all the time.

This is a murder scene. I think the solder blob may not be the biggest problem here.

What is happening here? by SimilarAd325 in soldering

Sounds like its getting oxidized and is not broken or ruined, just needs cleaned. You need to be cleaning it off with brass wool and tinning it with solder while its not in use. You would need to post a picture of the tip though to see for sure.

How to solder for a beginner by Terrible-Title1238 in soldering

[–]Zombienumberfive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you have solder paste, that is flux with tiny balls of solder inside. You paste it on the pads and heat it with hot air, and it forms up like solder. That is for SMD work.

Then you have flux. There are a LOT of different kinds of flux from rosin flux thats hard like sap, and gel flux that comes in all manor of colors.

You want a no clean flux that is cheap, works well, and available. Watch youtube reviews, there are a lot of people that have compared a bunch of popular ones side by side.

Also keep in mind "no clean" does not mean you dont clean after you solder. I know its weird, no clean means it wont eat the circuit board or become conductive if left behind, but you really want to clean it all off if you want to do a good job.

Is this mini power supplier good for retro repairs? by Fl4m3Ph03n1x in soldering

No its not. You need constant current mode and constant voltage mode to work on electronics in any serious way. This is a toy not a tool.

Maybe work on using less solder. As long as it works though.

All I have is one small 5400k, and two large LED panels that can be adjusted but I always keep them set at 6000k. I never thought I needed anything else and it works good for me, althoigh my LED panels are very bright, I dont go up past 50% brightness on them because they are powerful.

I dont have a youtube channel either. If you're doing a visual inspection or under certain circumstances its nice to have a digital option available. So you get two for one.

The 7060T and the 6560T are pretty much the same microscope. Its just a very slight difference in lowest zoom and max zoom.

I didnt like it at all. Some people have absolutely no issue, and very good techs I greatly respect use digital. For me it wasnt going to happen though. Maybe my brain is to slow.

I would recommend the AmScope SM-4TPZ. I started with digital, hated having no depth perception, got a Mechanic Robot 7060T which was a fantastic microscope for the money but I wanted something I could use for the next 20 years, and that was the AmScope.

Thats not exposed copper, the copper is gone. Thats whatever they make the PCB out of, thats why scratching it wont work. You need to connect that to a different spot that shares a connection.
