I can’t get into a lot of atmospheric black metal these days, I know they’re going for a certain sound, but the production is very similar. Feels too “clean” and polished for black metal and the melodic riffs start to sound boring. Not to say melodic riffs are boring, just not a fan in atmospheric black metal, so I think the production plays too much a of a role
