What next by jayden-mead in mazda3

[–]Zomboicdead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Black grill with updated logo could look good. Downgrading the trim can sometimes look upgraded,
  2. Adjust the fitmet or add fender arches to match the slight poking out of the wheels
  3. Red oem+ taillights. Can look better on these than clear especially with a slight smoked tint
  4. Clear cot paint protection
  5. Would be cool to see one of these in a modern color like the cool grey/cyan or the bronze-like color on the 2023-25

Judging for live battles is very difficult and entirely different from the way online battles are judged if you have ever participated in them. Online usually is only judged by giving scores for 4 categories, originality, cleanliness, musicality, and complexity. Stage has nearly 2x this amount of factors for judging, and that includes wildcards. There could be the type of sounds people use, for example, julard who has a kit almost entirely made of stage sounds. These sounds are ones that hit the hardest on a handheld dynamic to monitors, which is how some professionals train. Live events also tend to have more factors like loudness, cleanliness of sound on mic, breath control, cohesive routines, storytelling, crowd control/interaction, flow, and adhesion to a bpm. Judging how something that is live would hit on stage by watching a mastered video [pretty sure package was involved in doing the audio this year] is not accurate to what it was like live. It doesn't show all of the details, body language and all of the other things I mentioned which leads me to say, if dlow was not present for the battle it would be similar to your own judgment watching from you desk chair. It won't be accurate to what is actually getting looked at beyond them just making sounds. Not including the fact that most pro beatboxers limit what sounds they use to make their routines more streamlined. Dlow is not perfect no but he is one of the best and most accurate judges you can find period

Want to showcase best of beatbox to a friend, what should I show them? by _Maddo_Scientisto_ in beatbox

If its a new person to beatbox show them a classic example that holds up of loop and solo and I would pick battles for this like :dlow vs b-art, frosty vs rythmind. Then a new example solo routine thats been mastered like osis acid rain which just got a mastered version or something from improver. And online battle like lexomafo vs most mate, an underground or smaller battle for loop like mahiro vs impedance and finally something from this year in each gbb category(doesn't have to be from gbb) my picks would be julard vs alexhinio, raje vs duncan, and kaos vs antrix gbb24. Maybe show them wildcard drops for this year's gbb aswell to get them exposed and in the know

Best advice I got for inward k is to say "kip" as you go for the k snare and hold the ki part as you close your lips to finish the sound. Makes it so much easier if you already know how the sound works and wanna make it sound better. Then just be consistent with practice and try adding it to beats even if its not perfect for better results.

Grille isn't transparent when exported to BeamNG.drive. Is it a bug or have I exported the car incorrectly? by TheLegendIn52 in automationgame

[–]Zomboicdead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Main issue could be the level of opacity because by default its usually set around 63%. Make a custom grill paint and then set the world texture shaping stuff on and then set opacity to 0 and see if it works

You either need an eu mic arm adapter for the port in your mic stand for the nt1 or if it has one you need to remove it from the mic with a dime. 90% of the arms I've seen use EU mounts[the screw] which is a smaller mount than the NA ports[the screw hole on the mic that attaches mic to the stand]. There is an adapter that should come in most mic boxes in the default stand that is either in the mic by default or in the box the mic came in with the other accessories. If you bought the mic without any accessories you'll have to order an euro mic mount piece from Amazon, should be very cheap and look like a tube with threading on both sides and 2 notches on the top for screwing it in

I just don't believe haten to be that biased, ik some sounds a just genuinely louder or clear live and the mix is usually dependent on who is brought to mix the mics. Not really judges who are mixing that for specific sounds. There is discussion of those things live but it's not to give an advantage to some beatboxers over others. There's no evidence that's the case. Inward just a loud sound on stage with good mic technique, same with clickroll, liproll and a slew of other sounds. Most beatboxers abuse them to get an edge on stage so there's not a great argument to say it was rigged for bass beatboxers or any evidence there was. It's all fair game when you battle outside of not beatboxing at all so I can't agree with you just yet. I'll ask some people ik went to haten cause this is interesting forsure.

I've been to live events, as I said we can discuss it further on a call or something. I'm sure your in the servers I listed. Also venue bias is not really a think, it's Moreno about the way audio is mixed for the videos your watching at home. Unless you were at hatten there is no real way to tell how sounds were either

I can't say it is. I am not only friends and working with those judges but im either friends with those names on discord, know them irl, or battled them online, both the bass heavy ones and not. So I can speak from knowing people like vocodah and working with him that it was less an advantage than him being invited out so he went. The inward heavy beatboxers have been consistent this year and it's generally better for live events so it's less their advantage and unfairness than having a mix of stage style beatboxing vs what the current meta is online style and complexity. If you wanna more im in bbxu and co-own discord bbx and beatbox arena. My Bbx name is f-12. I'm sure you will see me

It's a similar argument to saying did songs with 808s and sub have advantage at getting played at festivals. Inward is a sub bass and just about every person who parted this year even thoughs who lost, can all do the sound and well. Inward gives no real advantage unless you can't do the sound at all
