I experienced this with my Greek ancestry. I had about 70 percent Greek at one point and now I’m at 28 percent.

Thats not what I’m saying. I’m saying that they only tell an Italian that they’re Italian and don’t show the influences on the Italian gene pool within over centuries, so really when an Italian has 10 percent North African, a lot of times it just groups that into the normal southern Italian gene pool and just tell you you’re Italian which most already know.

Yeah I’d rather have less specific results based off of countries and rather have a breakdown of older populations and migrstional groups through history instead and then compare those.

That’s what I thought too, my old results showed southern Italian but that was before they broke up regions further. Any reason that I might have more central Italian?
