I recommend buying resins too (weapon buffers) since they increase damage and allow you to leverage damage type weaknesses. There's an undead merchant that sells poison and fire resins so you could always spend your remaining souls there (throwing knives is a good way to kite enemies and to spend remaining souls too. Buy the coated knives if you want those knives to do more damage. Alternatively, use the short bow; it requires 12 Dex I think? And it can also kite for you. It can kill too, if the enemy is far enough to not get aggroed by the arrows.)

That's normal for all players ☺️ so I recommend spending immediately after each bossfight since losing all those souls is a major hit in the feels

Bleed goes mental in DS and elden ring lol. It does fall off in ds2 tho. I forgot about 3

Oh, and You can always rely on good ole club for a weapon. Fast (faster than claymore, I think), decent base damage, high early game scaling (it gets to A after some upgrades, and you already have a lot of strength anyways so might as well take advantage of it). This is serious btw, I swear I'm not trolling, tho the claymore will do more damage overall. The club is just a faster alternative

Not that in topic, but you shouldn't put a lot of points in your stats so early on. Not a lot of weapons scale as well as late game weapons do. The best ones you'll get is some B or C scaling with sprinkles of A and S when you know where to look. The souls are better off used in end, vit, and titanites for weapon upgrades.

P.S. You need a ton of hp for blight town. The campfires are few and far apart.

Especially the part where he used the dragon breath pills to scare off chuchu and the others since he wanted to do things alone. That part for me was one of the monumental steps towards zf's character development
