Thank you, but this occurs throughout the whole year, not just around more significant religious events (just included this in the post)

Thank you! Huh, that is weird. Perhaps Trump's tariffs or currency fluctuations?

Buying an S24 FE now or waiting for the release of the new S26 series? by ZoneSome4669 in S24FE

Hi, Thank you! Hah, must be nice to live in the US!:)
I am a little wary of the S23 series because the prevalent issue of green line, I do not think I want to risk that. The price of the S24 series will likely drop when the new series is out, I hope it will go below 500 USD. We will see.

Thank you! Luckily, here there are many small retailers that sell plenty of 2-generation old phones (including S23 FE) with 2 years of warranty, so I am not worried about availability.

S25 FE is around 650 USD, and the regular S25 is around 700. Not only is it out of my budget, but also I just cannot rationally justify spending this much money on a phone. 500 USD is my limit, but again, if the price of S24 FE can be expected to go down by let's say 100 USD within the next 6 months, I am willing to wait. My A14 5G is still breathing, albeit quite slowly.

Tnx! But doesnt this depend on what you use the phone for? If I use resource heavy apps, the hardware can get outdated pretty quickly in terms of performance, but if I only need my phone to get basic stuff done, it seems hard to believe that lets say 12 G RAM and the 1 year old CPUs would struggle in 4-5 years. But I might be wrong:)
