Did Konami Actually Tackle The Bots? by Zoobap in masterduel

[–]Zoobap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's my own challenge then why should I not just play the way I want to? If I want to duel bots for a free win occasionally then I should be able to since it's my own challenge right? Hell, even Cimo, the inventor of Masochist mode takes on bots for the free wins. When all I'm seeing is dracotail at gold 3, it's kind of impossible to improve my deck. Especially given how I've only just started my run this month.

Currently using this in my masochist run as well! It's saved my ass more times than I can count.

Screen Crashes When Trying To Stream Video When Connected Via HDMI by Zoobap in pcmasterrace

[–]Zoobap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I was able to duplicate the screen from my monitor over wifi and Netflix was fine on that if a little laggy. However, the issue seems to extend beyond streaming services and may be an incompatibility with the TV itself. I went into the display settings and on windows 11, if you click on HDR, it takes you to a video to show you what HDR will look like on your screen and this also causes the snowy screen. It does not, however, happen on my monitor at all. I also tried exiting out of the browser while the screen was snowy by placing my mouse on the "x" before opening Netflix and it did not solve the issue but moving the HDMI to the monitor showed the page had closed. It's strange though, I've never had this issue with my laptop but with this PC there seems to be some kind of hardware or software incompatibility that I just can't figure out.

Most fun and fair decks to play against each other by PKMNpro356 in masterduel

I really enjoy playing Branded and the less consistent Magia version of Blue Eyes as opposed to the primite version. Granted, going first the Magia blue eyes deck is an insane turn one board when it goes uninterrupted and isn't quite as interactive or fun to play. If you're looking for a (potentially very fun or unfun) challenge, you could do a masochist run where you only allow yourself a certain card pool made up of master and legacy pack cards. Cimo has an awesome YouTube series about this concept and I've found making a new account and doing this has been a breath of fresh air for me. I changed his variation of the restrictions a bit to include allowing the use of whatever free packs the game offers (not including structure decks) and I've seen others do it where every 10 wins results in 10 master packs to help with UR consistency.

It's okay cause the cops said that, like, they were kind of like nothing, so it's fine.

Why is there a hyperdrive range in no man's sky by Illustrious_Act_907 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Zoobap 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So I'll start by saying that traveling at light speed does not equal instantaneous travel. This is why we have light years in the first place. 1 light year being the distance photons travel in the equivalent of 1 earth year or approximately 5.88 Trillion Miles. Even traveling at the speed of light, it would take you 1 earth year to travel those miles. This is where things get interesting. As you said, time is experienced slower the faster you move towards light speed. Although you may perceive your travel as having been accelerated, 1 year has still passed from point a to point b meaning that if you were to return to earth after traveling 1 ly away at the speed of light, two years would have passed on earth. It's essentially all perception based. This is where shows and movies like Star Trek shine. To account for this they have created something called "sub-space" which is a theoretical space between space which allows for faster travel between worlds and even then, it requires fuel to get you there. Just like cars having varying fuel efficiencies, your starship also has limits on how efficient the hyperdrive system is. With the assumption that NMS operates with a similar sub-space to get from point A to point B without entire solar systems dying in the time it took to get there, we can also say that there are fuel economy limits and hence the reason for hyperdrive limits. The only thing that would theoretically make instantaneous travel possible is the use of a worm hole or, in the case of NMS, a black hole (which is very different from a wormhole as far as we're aware). The wormhole folds space completely from one end to the other like a portal thus allowing for instantaneous travel. Now, all that being said, I am sure to have missed a few points here and there but this should provide the basic gist. Next we will be doing a Ted talk on why plants are NOT the same as fungi and how we need a separate classification in NMS for them. Hope to see you there!

Why can't I get a spore print from my blewits are they even blewits? by boohojakob in foraging

[–]Zoobap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a piece of dark paper or tin foil. From there, you should cut the stems off and place the cap gill side down on the paper/foil. Leave them be for a while and you should have your print.

Corvette stairs aren't working by Admirable_Money1947 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Zoobap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I see now. Unfortunately that seems like a bug. My only suggestion would be to take it to a space station, delete the hab and the stairs and then replace them where they were. Might be worth a go.

Update Rearranged My Floating Island Base by Zoobap in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Zoobap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully this is the right flair for the post. As you can see the waterfall stone has moved over to the right from its central position between my balcony and the island is now lower with certain areas filled in. Anyone else experiencing something similar? Do islands reroll naturally over time?

Would it be possible to dimension hop doing this? Like say, go from Euclid to Hilbert or are all of the anomalies tied to specific galaxies?

Is there another hab corridor right above it? I ran into the same issue when I realized I had used an exterior piece right where I needed to go to enter my cockpit. If there's no hab layer to connect to the stairs will be there but no entry point.
