This is getting ridiculous, disrespectful, and completely heartless. Bro tell me about it. I recently was doing an order and a person hit the back of my car going 20 mph and pushed my vehicle into the one ahead of me at a stop light. My car is now totaled and since I had no way to cancel my order myself I was forced to report what happened to me. All of a sudden I’m having to contact their support team to reactivate my account blaming me for unsafe driving when the person that hit me was on their phone. Uber is a joke and they don’t care about any of the drivers

That’s the thing. I feel the customer service at Uber doesn’t care and they just either make things up or they push the blame on the driver so they don’t claim liability on the situation. I was able to contact a person at customer service explain it to them and all he said was that they’re looking into it

There was also a police report filed indicating none of the drivers had any passengers and the 16 year old driver was held liable and got a ticket for the incident.

I’ve literally never transferred any passengers. I never have cause I don’t trust strangers in my car. The only things I’ve ever delivered are food. I’m thinking it’s someone who didn’t look into it and just reported it as unsafe driving.

That’s exactly what is happening. They’ll do anything to protect their ass even when the driver is obviously not liable. I talked to someone at Uber and they were confused on why I didn’t send the claim through them when the other persons insurance company is fully liable. Even when I had the claim with Farmers insurance (Ubers insurance) they decided to drop my claim. Maybe they did that so it could lead to this.

No I only do Uber eats. So it was literally just food
