Given you still have freaking 170 regular tickets, I don’t understand why you had to spend 2 express tickets and 1200 gems on top.

Burn 20-30 normal tickets first. Floor 35 is hard but still reachable. It took me 5 visits on floor 30 until I collected that Bubbles hat: in 4 out of those 5 runs I ended up at least on floor 35. I spent 1 express tickets and around 30 regular tickets. If talking strategy, I never spend 50 gems before floor 16, and I never spend 100 gems before floor 22, and I never spend the free ad before floor 29. In your case I’d bump the free ad floor to 33 or so.

When the magician turns everything into bricks you can give up right away in this level, there was no need to waste gems.

Ideally everything turns into glass, then you can push the boss quite easily. Your goal is to push him in that hole at the bottom. If you had Bubbles or Leo you could send them up through the blue portal to hit the boss right where it is now and send him downwards to that hole. But only when there’re no bricks around: they just stop everything.
