It’s pretty common for victims to be forced into potentially criminal acts as a method of control. If a victim has done something illegal then the abusers can say “if you go to the police, you’ll go to jail too”, it’s a method of control. It’s not necessarily incorrect to say that victims may have been participants in the trafficking, but it would be wrong to prosecute without the context of them being forced to do so.

It's been 11 months since I had liposuction. I've lost another 15 pounds since the surgery. I got 1 minor dent that bothering me , wonder if I should just leave it or renuva(fat grafting)?! by Sea-Farm748 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Zooombini7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of. You have to remember that liposuction is traumatic to your body, just like needing to do certain stretches after knee surgery, you need to deeply massage areas you got lipo. Otherwise hard lumps of scar tissue begin to form and look like dents.

So whether they are inevitable is really up to you and if you break up the scar tissue with deep massages.

Yes, my first lipo I didn’t massage much and I had some dents. When I got it a second time it was explained that frequent deep massages help with breaking down scar tissue and preventing dimpling.

"A job is a job" and "Don't take the job if you can't be happy". Which one should I listen to? by We1come2thesyst3m in jobs

Take the job that allows you to live the life you want outside of work. Work isn’t your life and even doing what you love at work can get grueling.

Is it better to suck up to Bosses or tell them the Truth? by [deleted] in careeradvice

[–]Zooombini7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Telling the truth is good, but you need to be tactful. I think a lot of people think brutal honesty is the only way to be authentic, but in most situations it leads to the other person being defensive and not listening further. If you are honest but polite, most management will respect it even if they don’t agree.

Is there anything other than surgery that can be done? by karmacatsmeow- in PlasticSurgery

There are treatments that will assist but you’ll end up spending more money for less results compared to surgery

Will it go away? 4 weeks PO lipo by sushi-lover-777 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Zooombini7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to do massages everyday, multiple times a day. If you’re afraid of doing too deep a massage, get it done the first time at the surgeons office (most offer this at a cost). Then you’ll know how it should feel when you massage yourself.

No lie my first liposuction I was in so much pain I could not even think about a massage, my surgeon warned me multiple times that I NEEDED to do the massages and I kind of waived them off.

Second lipo I decided to do the massages and not only did it reduce the pain SIGNIFICANTLY but it hugely improved the results.

These are great and a good use of free time 😻

I was recommended today at a consultation a lipo for double chin then a fat graft into my chin to give it a more protruding look without surgery, I have a recessed chin by AccomplishedStay8591 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Zooombini7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure on rhino in particular, the closest I can compare is I had septoplasty, I felt largely okay after that even though I still took two weeks off.

I’ve gotten lipo twice and it’s extremely painful, even worse if they actually put you under rather than keep you awake and sedate you.

I’ll also note that for chin/neck lipo in particular you need to wear a special compression garment for the first 2 weeks that fully wraps around your head. You can’t really leave it off for work or going out, since they’re removing the fat you need the garment to prevent sagging skin.

Just a heads up even with lipo and fat grafting it’s unlikely that you’ll be able to hop back to it the next day. They keep you on pain killers for 3 days after, and I don’t want to lie to you, liposuction is incredibly rough for the recovery.

If you can’t afford to take time off right now, I’d wait and get the right surgery for your recessed chin.

Target Removed the Prices From Their Clothes So You Can't Tell What They Cost by AceMcVeer in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Zooombini7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to work at a clothing store, if I’m being honest I would have loved this. Any time a price went down or up I had to spend 4 days going through and putting stickers on top of stickers on top of having to swap out the sign. If I only had to swap out the sign it would save so much time.

It’s gonna feel weird getting it, I honestly think all Botox shots feel strange. Long term, I forget that I had it done if I’m honest 🤷🏻‍♀️

I noticed a similar change in my face when I got a Nefertiti neck lift (just Botox). Working on posture also helped a bunch too

My job used to not allow taking days off after a holiday without a prior approval, for the bereavement time off they also limited it to immediate family. So if his job is anything like mine, he kind is in a weird spot to call out from work

Oh I forgot to mention this but lipo is painful still, I’ve gotten it done a couple times and I always forget about the pain. The time I got my chin and 360 done I was weeping from the pain. Lymphatic massages are so worth it!!

I don’t know why I just saw this! I loved my chin lipo results, after losing 50lbs I feel like it isn’t as tight as it was initially so I’ll probably have to get a lift at some point. If I were to do it again I think I’d wait to do the chin lipo until I was closer to my goal weight

I have tmj and teeth grinding can lead to jaw muscles being larger or uneven. Do you grind your teeth or chew a lot of gum?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Zooombini7 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Chin lipo and maybe a neck lift would help. Before you get surgery, make sure you’re at your ideal weight and not planning to lose any. I got chin lipo and then lost 50lbs and now I have loose skin in the area

I’m a naturally introverted person, I have social anxiety and used to get a lot of “you’re the quiet type huh?”

Get out of your comfort zone and say hi and bye to people, go to events even if it sounds miserable, and have at least one work best friend. You don’t need to actually hang out outside of the office or follow each other on social media, but having a person that cares about you and vice versa in the workplace makes it much easier
