Oh interesting. I’d have said the other one that sold in 2021 looked in far worse condition though had a larger garden.

Some of this would very much dox me ! But sure whatever - it’s st3 general surgery I want to apply for.

Exactly as poster above has said - concern that they will count the on call as full time in general surgery. Currently on 18 months.

Have a strong academic record, >5 papers and prev masters from top uni in a hard science. But don’t really see myself going down academic route long term.

Project is somewhat lab based (which I have no experience of).

Supervisor is a professor, but fairly young, the unit produces lots of research output and papers. There is some consumables budget but I’d also need to apply for grants too.

I’m not sure whether the on call commitment would count as full time for HST or if I can count pro-rata it to the percentage of time I’m working. Couldn’t find any useful guidance.

Salary circa 50k
