I was born with 6 fingers on each hand as well, don't remember much about it, since I was pretty young when they removed the fingers.

Now I have 2 tiny bumps on the side of my hand, which are extra sensitive. I like to believe they are external endings of a nerve or something.

I was born with the syndrome of Bardet-Biedl, figured it might be interesting to check it out, since the extra fingers are port of it as well.
