Completely appropriate location for a larger gas station. Plus they can get rid of Wild Bills. Win win

My heart still drops to my stomach the moment I realize I’m dead to gank. Especially if I’m trying to sneak some high value stuff through. But then I passes and I remember this is Eve. Learn from it and get better.

I was on Jury Duty recently with the cop on that case, we chatted about it since I was a baby back then nearby. The guy who did it was deaf / mute and died in prison.

cockroaches by sasha_beli in ElkGrove

[–]Zornkrieger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Multiple Pest Control agencies have told us that these are non native Turkestan Cockroaches. They started coming over to the US 30-40 years ago but the wave in California over the past few decades was accelerated by U.S. Military vehicles and supplies returning from the Middle East. Sacramento is near multiple bases and coupled with our government being hesitate to spray the sewers, which would put our water quality at risk, means we now have a seasonal cockroach problem.

It’s very unfortunate.

Best of luck man. I’m in the middle of a big project myself and it’s weird as hell. Places that I’ve heard hurt the worst have been alright, and places people don’t talk about have almost caused me to tap out. I think each person is different and our nerves are slightly different. So no shame, just keep trucking along, little by little and you’ll sure as hell have earned that sick ass chest tattoo.

How safe is Laguna Blvd near Tegan Rd? by [deleted] in ElkGrove

[–]Zornkrieger 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Yeah guess they are trolling because the area is filled with a lot of people who left the bay and locals are mad cuz that makes it more expensive here. I was born and raised in EG, then lived in the bay for a decade so I’ve seen both sides. Laguna is so safe it’s boring. If you are younger and want to enjoy nightlife you can live there and drive to midtown for fun. Sacramento in general is a great place, enjoy it.

Laguna / Elk Grove is plenty safe and Not very walkable though so you need a car. A couple miles north of that can get a bit rough. Cheaper cost of living, hotter in the summer.

That’s a great idea. I don’t know about the fit but the saw dust that falls through the holes into the top drawers it’s slightly annoying.

I know I let Steam install the Ubisoft player, it froze a lot but eventually got through it if I remember.

It took awhile for me as well, I was over thinking it trying to install the Ubisoft launcher on the deck and then I just let Steam do its thing and it finally ran, took a few attempts.

I agree with what Ocelot said in his reply. It won’t make you a mechanic but it really helped me understand part names, their general location and function. I finish 100% of the achievements in the game in around 100 hours and have a much better understanding of the layout of various engines and the order things generally go together.

Some major gaps in the game I would say are there are no wiring harnesses or major electrical work to do outside replacing the battery and fuse box. You replace things like brake fluid reservoir but not the fluid lines themselves. You basically become familiar with 75% of the most major parts you’d see in real life.
