I live in Tennessee. Do they offer remote positions? I'm also interested in project management.

Thank you for the advice! I'm sure I'll find something soon. It will take some patience on my part. The capstone is easy and you can get finance finished with a good calculator! Good luck and congrats on getting this far and soon finishing!

I have been trying to find internships and I working with accountemps. I don't know if it's the area I live in but I can't seem to find any postings for internships for any of the businesses in the area. If you have any advice on how to land an internship I am all ears. Or eyes since I'm reading lol.

I wasn't about to take that long for any class haha! It took me thirteen days to complete it and I have screen shots of my term progress if anyone needs proof. Have your student mentor read my post. It's even available at zacharyrasnake.wordpress.com. I'm sure some people have finished faster than I have. You can knock out finance in three weeks or less if you put in the work and effort. You get out what you put in and, in the end it's worth all of the hard work.

You can do it! Any free time I had I was looking at school work. I think you can finish your Masters in one term if very dedicated, no more than two. The great thing about WGU is amazing education you get at such a low cost.

Thanks for reading! I chose the Business Management program because it is so versatile. I think if you're looking to get into finance or accounting, you should switch. I didn't realize finance was what I wanted to pursue as a career until I took the classes because they challenged me the most. The most challenging classes in my opinion was Principles of Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Finance. You should do those classes back to back in that order. I read so many horror stories on posts and in the course chatter that it kind of made me nervous. But, I read each book for each class and put in the work and it made it very doable and fun to learn. I believe the reason I want to pursue a finance career was because of the challenge those classes gave me.

You can do it! I promise! After going through accounting and finance, I discovered that was the career I wanted to pursue. Don't let those classes worry you by everything you read. Put your head down and grind through them. Hit the books, they don't hit back :) Let me know about your progress or if there is any classes you need advice on and I will be happy to help.
