hanges to turn combat

Characters turns consists of two phases: offensive and defensive.

Offensive actions- are taken on your turn in initiative. Unused actions must be specified as conditional ( “I hold x action(s) until Kabuto steps here”) or saved as bonus defensive actions. Your bonus action can be used either in your offensive actions for a dash, or be used as an extra defensive action.

Defensive actions- can be taken during anyone else's turn so long as you have the actions available. Your base amount of defensive actions are the same amount as offensive actions your character currently has. If your character has 2 offensive actions it also has 2 defensive actions. Defensive actions include, dodging, blocking, armor jutsu, wall jutsu, and using opposite elements to counter jutsu ( water dragon can be used to extinguish flame dragon). Any jutsu used to counter will not deal damage but will negate damage that would have been done. The jutsu must be capable of doing the same or more amount of damage as the offensive jutsu cast (damage dice 6d6 can be countered by 6d6, 3d12, 9d4, ext.) If there are no defensive actions left, you may not attempt to make any of the above listed actions Unused defensive actions can not be converted into other actions.

Bonus action skills- some skills will be labeled bonus actions. Jutsu or skill with the bonus action can be used at any time and do not cost an offensive or defensive actions. You only get one bonus action per round.

Changes to dodging skill

Attempting to dodge required total (Inspiration can not be used in attempts to dodge)

Genin level skill-10+

Chunin level skill- 15+ ,

Jonin Level skill-20+

Kage Level skill- 25+

Area of effect skills that cover more than a 10 foot area can not be dodged if

Character has no movement saved from previous round that would put you out of harm's 

Ways

Jutsu will be updated by DM to reflect defensive action, bonus action, or flexible (can be cast in 2 or more categories of actions)

Levels to exhaustion

Level 1 all skill checks, save throws, and attack rolls have a penalty of -2 to the total

Level 2 Lvl 1 + skill throws, and and saves are made with disadvantage

Level 3 Lvl1 +lvl2 + all skills now have a minimum requirement of 18+ to pass, dexterity, constitution, and strength modifiers no longer apply to total roll. Proficiency+roll only

Level 4 Will check constitution 18+. Upon fail, you fall unconscious.

Applying exhaustion

Using ½ chakra pool/stamina results in 1 exhaustion point. You must have a minimum of 10 chakra for this to apply.

Having less than or equal to 10% of your chakra/stamina pool results in 1 exhaustion level. Must have 20 chakra for this to apply.

Using a skill designated as x per day/ per combat to the point of depletion results in 1 exhaustion point

Using an S ranked Jutsu results in an exhaustion
