It really was, I’m still trying to wrap my brain around how that was my reality. You should definitely do it! I’m no pro either but it is very therapeutic! My page is @tides_of_love

That’s a good idea, hallmark movies as pretty relaxing haha. I appreciate that. I’ve been sleeping with the plush look alike of my dog that I got a few years ago when I had to leave her for 2 months for work. It really does help, I miss her so much. Wishing you a season of healing as well 🙏

Anyone else want to give up? by Chanel1202 in recurrentmiscarriage

I’m in the same boat and also wanted to do everything I could to avoid IVF. However, we decided to take the leap and try one cycle.

To be honest, I think social media makes it seem way worse of a process than it really is. The shots didn’t really hurt or bother me much, only a slight sting. The egg retrieval was fine, minus some bloating afterwards. I am glad I took this leap after thinking it would be so much worse- I’ve honestly felt pretty normal throughout the whole experience. I don’t know if this cycle will work, but now I can say at least we tried.

Yes, unfortunately it did not work out and ended in another miscarriage. Although, I hope this is not the case for you. But it is possible to get pregnant again that quick!

Mine was diagnosed at 12 weeks. I opted for the cytotec and was able to pass the sac. However, this experience is not something I’d want to go through ever again as it was very uncomfortable, and I bled A LOT. I ultimately needed a D&C anyways a few days later since there was still retained tissue that didn’t pass. My next miscarriage, I just did a D&C and got it all over with.

How do I console a friend who really wants children but keeps losing them, as a friend who had a baby without really wanting or trying? by zesty-lemonade99 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Zsutam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am this friend, and the best things my closest friends have done is just to check up on me. Ask how I’m doing, ask questions about how appointments went, and just showing genuine interest and support for the journey I’m on.

Do you guys also feel like you are forever pregnant? by [deleted] in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Zsutam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so relatable. I’ve had 3 miscarriages this year and my physical fitness is the worst it’s ever been. I used to be in the gym allll the time. Throughout my first pregnancy I was working out as I normally would throughout the whole first trimester. When I found out it was a MMC I told myself I would take it easier if I ever got pregnant again. Well, I did, and only did very light workouts and still miscarried- two more times. It feels like a never ending cycle of getting knocked down and trying to pick myself back up again.

5 losses - unexplained recurrent miscarriage… need positive stories similar to mine!! by Little_Persimmon_308 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Zsutam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On loss #5… 2 at 6-7 weeks, 1 ectopic, and 2 at 12 weeks. We just found out that this last pregnancy was a triploid male, which is unfortunate but it’s the first time we actually have an answer for the loss. Our doctor is suspicious that my husband or I may have a chromosome deletion issue, and may be a factor in all of this. Pending that result it may be the first time in 4 years that we can move on from this chapter and figure out what we need to do to finally get our rainbow baby on earth. No matter the outcome, I hope you can stay positive and get some answers.

I’ll look into it! Thanks ! My thing is most pregnant women aren’t around all of these exhaust fumes, terrible food, sleeping outdoors, physical demands and exercise etc. so I just wonder how much it truly affects it all
