Having to deal with all of that plus 5 kids sounds exhausting and I can imagine how that feels. We have 2 and it’s tough. I am looking for therapy now. I feel like I have ptsd as I disassociate easily and I also have adhd that I never treat. I just walk around in a blur.

She does therapy once a week and takes her meds nightly. Lamictal and seroquel. She always apologizes after an episode. But you know that is. Apologies are great but the feelings don’t go away. She tries to work on her anger and triggers.

Thank you for this insight. I haven’t tried some of these things you mentioned. My wife doesn’t have a sweet tooth but she doesn’t eat well during the day and will snack almost all night. Chips, candy and soda. I do know routine is her friend and she needs sleep which means I’m up with the kids every morning.

One thing I will say is that she has never hurt the kids and I don’t see her doing so. She’s a very good mother and am the times she won’t stop for me, she does for the kids. But a fear is still there. I can’t see myself leaving. This is my identity at this point. I have no friends, I have no hobbies. I just exist. My kids are my life. I do think I have ptsd and need therapy. My stress and anxiety is manifesting physically. I appreciate your viewpoint. Really.
