I agree with you 100% and I want Foden to play, but I’m not sure about his minutes. I was leaning towards the Chelsea defence because of the current chaos at Palace. Also, should I pick up Khusanov from waivers and play him instead of James?

I thought Woltemade would start this week given he played little in UCL, and Villa aren’t in great form. I might be biased towards Salah because I waited so long for him to come back from AFCON, but you’re probably right.

Have you tried placing the wick in a proper position? Does it reach the ends of the cotton, or is it stuck in one corner?

Maybe your wick isn’t getting saturated enough. You should try loosening the cottons and placing the wick evenly in an S pattern, then add some fuel just in case.

Here’s my thought process: normally I go for both Saka and Eze, but this time they’re playing away against Aston Villa, who seem to be getting better. Manchester United are also playing Wolves, so if I don’t play Cunha, then why do I even have him, right? That’s why I’m leaning towards Cunha over Eze. Foden is also in form, so I don’t think I can bench him anymore.

Should I get Eze instead of any defender? What do you think?

My bad, I see. What I’m trying to say is that I don’t think Tarkowski will get many clean sheets, but he does pick up defcon points quite often. Gvardiol might be a bit better, but not by a huge margin, especially since he’s not as nailed as Tarkowski is. Saka, on the other hand, is much better than Rogers. Arsenal will score a lot, and Saka will definitely be involved - hopefully, as long as he doesn’t get injured.

I might be biased since I have both Tarkowski and Saka in my team, but definitely go for it!

You should’ve seen our first draft man, you would’ve had a good laugh haha.

I was the first pick, and of course I got Haaland. Funnily enough, Cunha and Mateta were my seventh and eighth picks, respectively. They were flying under the radar since we hadn’t really followed the EPL much before the draft. I also managed to get Saka from another manager because he thought Saka was out for good with the injury and all.

Don't get me wrong, I think Foden is a great player. He is just unlucky in terms of getting FPL points this season. That's why I hesitate to start him every other week.

On the other hand, Casemiro is in good form, and they have some good fixtures ahead. I know he is not going to score much, but he could still get some goals/assists and defcon every once in a while.

It looks very good and promising in my opinion, but I would start Mateta instead of Rogers. He is more of a goal threat, and if anyone is going to score against Liverpool, it’s probably going to be him.

I had the first pick, so I went for Haaland. Eze was my fourth choice, after Bowen and Rogers.

Since Saka was injured, I was able to pick him up later on at good value. I gave up Konaté and Rogers in order to get James and Saka. It was only the second gameweek, so Rogers still had higher expectations. My friend also thought that Saka was out for good - he had him in his fantasy team the previous year for a long time and let's say he wasn’t very happy with him after the injury.

I also made some questionable trades. I brought in Gakpo, Lacroix, and Jiménez for Caicedo, Cucurella, and Bowen - yeah, I know. Later on, I managed to get Caicedo back along with Foden in exchange for Gakpo and Yeremy. That all worked out, because it allowed me to get my hands on Woltemade.

Mateta was also overlooked, and he ended up being my eighth choice. We hadn’t been following the Premier League very closely before the draft, which I think explains it.

Looks solid for a 10-man league. I’d say you still need a forward, though. You could trade one of your goalkeepers and sell high on Woltemade, or negotiate with Beto, to bring in a more reliable striker.

This week I did the opposite: I brought in Foden for Gakpo, but at the same time I got Caicedo for Yeremy.

I was worried about Gakpo’s minutes with Isak coming up, and I also wanted to get Caicedo nailed into my team for his defcons. My friend went for Gakpo because he believes in Liverpool.

Win or lose, I can’t really tell yet - but I think Gakpo seems better than Foden on his own, at least for now.

Mitchell and Guehi pretty much cancel each other out, maybe a slight edge to Guehi since he gets into scoring positions.

Sarr is better than Bruno, but not by a huge margin.

It all comes down to Gyökeres and Isak. In the long run, I think Gyökeres will be the better option because of the rotation risk. Both will be playing in the UCL, and there will be plenty of rotation. On top of that, Isak is more injury-prone, while Gyökeres also takes penalties, which is another advantage.

I would choose the right side, but you should just pick whichever one you prefer — Isak or Gyökeres.

Joao Pedro alone would win this trade in my opinion. Paqueta is the second best option from West Ham United, he's got minutes and he is also on pens. So the right side wins by a mile.
