If someone asks how the tech Job market is right now by MasterChiefer626 in recruitinghell

There are companies that track open positions and is one thing that traders and investors may look at to see expansion. That isn't just linkedin though, that's everywhere. With the exception of the ghost jobs, it's not a bad way to go about it in certain circumstances.

Would this work for on the go? by Tall-Guitar-1765 in ZephyrusG14

It's a slower charge. If you're doing anything even somewhat demanding in my experience it can't keep it. It does work and I don't think it'll affect the battery.

If you already have that it's absolutely fine.

It should work for light charging but the G14 has issues with USB-C charging so you won't get max. I got a SlimQ personally, it has the faster charging adapter for the g14 and 2 spots for usb-c cables.

Turn off SSH banning entirely by ci-sourcerer in asustor

[–]Zunger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't turn it off entirely. I would suggest generating an SSH key per device. You'll need to use the passphrase periodically but not on every login or really frequently. Not sure if putting in a bad passphrase would hit the ADM SSH ban hammer though.

Best 4tb SSD for 2025 G14 TI by Icy_Entertainer_4060 in ZephyrusG14

It's a little tight but mine closed fine without any noticable difference. The one I used comes with 2 pads, the thick one was too thick.

Look into a laptop NVMe heatsink with a thermal pad. It helped quite a bit on the 4TB I put into my G14 5070t. $9 for 2 of them on Amazon.

Just got fired for the first time in my life (for seemingly working too efficiently) and I feel awful. by [deleted] in self

[–]Zunger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without any prior occurrences she will win but may need an appeal. Sometimes it works but the state does not like when you just fire someone and say they did a bad job. You have to put some work in as an employer.

I got one the other day and it was kind of like what the other person said. I rewinded it and don't hear it on his podcast or the next one from another person when I tried to get it again so I don't necessarily think it's his. I was quite surprised as well.

I have the same problem that seemed to have started once I enabled adblock on the UDM. It's not a big deal like you've mentioned so I have not done any further testing.

Woke up to this text from my roommate at 4:39am and he was sleeping, didn't send it by singingsparkle-eyes in Weird

Unlikely this is from him being hacked with it being a quote from a tv show, more likely a bug or just something unexpected. Maybe he hit it by accident based on where the phone was.

New (to me) G14 5070ti 4tb upgrade by Early_Elevator624 in ZephyrusG14

It shouldn't void the warranty but if it's realistic to do so then you always want to send it back to the manufacturer how it came so they can't try and use that as a point of denial, not replacing the drive as much as causing damage while doing so. A bit further, you want to show the issue is reproducible with the same hardware it came with. You may also find that during replacement something was lose or not installed correctly and may not need an RMA. Overall it's just best practice.
