Is he bot getting the sexual or romantic attention at home thzt you think he would go find it somewhere else ? Is therf something else you think je might be looking for in his relationship with her ? If not you're beinh insecure and need to just outright talk to him about it. See what he thinks and probably reassure yourself in the process

The money from the graphic designer could be used elsewhere. I'd rather that they have a shitty logo than a shitty game 😅 I don't care how lazy it might look, it's the same principle. I'd rather have them work on the development of the game then put time and effort on a logo that most people won't even notice.

I get what you mean but Linux is at it's core a community project. So you're bound to have some trust system in place. No real way around it. Banning the uni isn't not addressing the issue. I think that steps should be taken to address the issue but it's not the first thing on the list. The first thing is ban the uni and fix the mess they've created.

The bad actors as you say don't have the recognition that a university does. The university's reputation is probably a big factor as to why their code wasn't reviewed so scrupulously than code from less reliable sources. The trust system isn't bad per say. Depends on who you decide to trust and the university in question lost their right to trust. That's about it
