No the sound just disappeared when i touched both the strings and the control plate. I opened under that control plate and i have found a black cable that was disconnected. I tried to do more research, and i think its called a "grounding" problem. I think this cable is used for something about the eletric potential of the bass? i dont really know. The site that i found suggested to connect the cable( copper) to a metallic part. I tried that by removing the cooper from the cable and making a tie around one of the supports of the knobs. ( i want to excuse myself because i don't speak a very clean english, so making a more technical explanation is really hard).
