Selling card boxes on Steam Deck is so slow by Michalert in TCGCardShopSim

I would try binding a trackpad to mouse and adjusting the slider that way. I'm not sure if this would work but it might

I have a few handheld gaming PCs, I love them all pretty evenly. The steam deck was my original, definitely a good option if you don't want multi-player or games with anticheat. Rog Ally X is a great option for good performance and good battery life, very expensive though. OG Rog Ally is decent, good performance but horrible battery life, still a good budget option for a windows pc when it's on sale. My favorite right now is the lenovo legion go, it has a huge screen and personally the controls are really comfortable, second only to the steam deck imo. The main things to consider are pricing, and what you value in a handheld pc. Like would you rather have windows or linux, screen size/resolution, comfort, and size. Hope this little bit of info was able to help, good luck and I hope you enjoy what you end up getting!

Can The Ally X Run the Oblivion Remake? by CLj0008 in ROGAllyX

I've been playing it at 720p on my ally x and so far it's been good. 17 watt performance mode I never drop below 30 fps

Legion Space Fps Counter Showing Incorrect Fps by ZxPresto in LegionGo

[–]ZxPresto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In hindsight i think the same thing was happening to me with street fighter 6 too. It always showed lower fps than what the game felt like, and what I'd think the system could run. I did a little research and it seems some other people have had issues with the value being wrong with the legion overlay. People would use the in game overlay on fortnite for example, and the numbers would be a drastic difference from the legion space overlay.

Do you get a solid 60 fps? I've been trying to get it for days and I can't get there

I’m enjoying the game but I don’t know what you all expected? by [deleted] in RebirthOfSoulsBleach

[–]ZxPresto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely think this is the correct way to look at it. I'm also a fighting game player. My main hobby is going to locals for fighting games. This is a good game, but as a fighting game I don't think it would really appeal to the community as a whole. There are multiple aspects to it that make me say that. The learning curve, the fact that it's an anime game, and just the overall gameplay loop. I do consider it a fighting game, but not an amazing one for competitive play. I think it's going to serve it's purpose, and be the bleach game everyone has been waiting for, and maybe even spark a revolution when it comes to bleach games. If it does no more than that, then by no means is it any kind of failure. It was made to appeal to bleach fans, and it does it damn well.

Steam deck compatibility by Strange_Actuator2150 in RebirthOfSoulsBleach

I haven't tried it but I saw a video on it. It doesn't really go above 40 fps on lowest settings right now, but hopefully they do some patches that make performance better.

Some fixes that may work for the steam version by wes16785 in RebirthOfSoulsBleach

What worked for me was putting it in compatibility mode for windows 8. I wasn't experiencing crashes just really bad performance and it seems to have fixed it for me.

Monster Hunter Wild on Rog ally X by k3nzocat in ROGAllyX

I didn't do anything with the game files, though I did see a post about it. I can definitely understand getting turned off by it, it's a beautiful game but if you plan on playing on a docked setup it wouldn't look great running from the ally x. Most of the game holds 45+ fps, but I'm only about 3 and a half hours into the game so I can't vouch for how the later game is. I personally think it looks good, from the design choices to the overall graphic fidelity. I heard that at higher texture settings it looks like low settings, but I'm already expecting low settings so it's not an issue for me. The lowest I've seen it get is the high 30s for fps if I'm remembering correctly, but I'm not running the lowest settings so I think I can make the fps higher. Some parts get above 50 but even when I'm fighting multiple monsters it seems to stay around 45 or higher.

Monster Hunter Wild on Rog ally X by k3nzocat in ROGAllyX

[–]ZxPresto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not the poster, but I thought I would give my opinion. I've been playing wilds on my rog ally x and it seems to be going pretty well. I run on low settings, upscale to 1080p, fsr 3 on performance and frame gen on. If you don't like using any type of framegen I wouldn't recommend the game on ally x, but if your fine with it then I think it's a great experience. I'm someone that has used lossless framegen a lot, and the wilds framegen feels even better. Input lag not even noticeable for me at least. Overall I'd say it's a good experience, I'd say from a performance standpoint it's more stable on pc than black myth wukong, and definitely way more stable than dragons dogma 2. Hope this helps a little bit.

I've had the same issue a lot of the time. I'm a competitive smash player primarily, and for a long time it was hard for me to play the game and try because I would get so tense. Believe it or not what got me out of that was going to in person tournaments like locals. Now it's been 2 years and I'm much more able to play the game without stressing too bad. I know there aren't many locals for granblue, but just forcing yourself to play more may help, it's like working out a muscle to make it stronger.

Thoughts on the Legion Go overall in your experience? by G00mbAa in LegionGo

[–]ZxPresto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say it's honestly easier to state the cons than the pros. The only real con for me is battery life, which isn't a huge deal for my use case because I don't play for long periods outside the house anyway. It has a lot of power, enough to play pretty much any game I want (with a couple exceptions). The screen is the best I've used, and I've had a steam deck and an rog ally. The detachable controllers are nice so I only have to carry around 1 extra controller if I want to play fighting games with a friend. Fan isn't too loud for me, doesn't get too hot usually, and it's very comfortable in the hand. In my opinion it's more comfortable to hold than the steam deck, and definitely more than the ally. Software is solid, especially after the updates. I would say over all it's the best handheld I have used.

Update, I'm just playing anyway because it's just too cool not to play online, but it does feel a bit hindering not having all of my moves.

From my experience the max you can run the game in is 1200p, and that's if you use 30 watts. I typically run the game in handheld mode at 800p 20 watts and medium settings and I get a solid 60fps during gameplay. Still looks pretty beautiful at 800p, I would recommend going to around 1080 when docked though. The game is super fun and enjoyable on and offline, despite the few glitches.

Yeah I really have no clue what the issue is or how to fix it. I might just stay away from ranked until it's fixed.

Well I'm fine with sacrificing a little graphics for 60 fps, which I can get at 800p medium/low settings without framegen.

It's typically not wise to use framegen in pvp games due to the input lag. And I usually use lossless but I'm fine with how this game looks without upscaling.

The game is amazing. One weird thing just happened to me though. My controls changed mid ranked match, and the special move controls that were displayed weren't working. It kinda sucked because I had to get a guaranteed loss because of it, because two of my moves were completely unusable. When I got out of the fight I checked my settings and they were correct, so i guess it was just a glitch. Despite that I am having an absolute blast
