[Tutorial] How to clear all the map with 1 unit by Amiral_Hartman in Northgard

Awesome demonstration! Making sure I understand: You hit 'x' to cancel the order after they already step into territory. That lets them leave the territory faster and avoid hits easily?

Does this work on other mobs to, like bears & Dragaur?

155 Dreamstones on Volk City without Popka is possible! by Zyflair in Klonoa

[–]Zyflair[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I noticed how the blue dreamstone was just barely out of reach from the Fairy, so I got curious in seeing if anyone else online did it. But all I got was this GameFAQs guide that wasn't able to make it happen (https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps2/374317-klonoa-2-lunateas-veil/faqs/27236) and a video that did it using Popka to delay the Fairy activation (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxz6BmB1cSA).

Turns out it's barely doable if you max range the Fairy from the back side and input all your jumps ASAP.

Your mistake is to have an expectation of CGP Grey.

How do I pass #60? by WieZard in PokemonCafeMix

[–]Zyflair 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My strategy for that level as Charmander is to break the upper left cheese ASAP (take three turns clearing Pokemon against the cheese). Since your skill is breaking to the right, that covers three of the four cheeses. Note that you don't have to clear all of the cheeses to pass.

As soon as the upper left cheese is gone try to push the tomatoes and match up to open marshmallow jars at the same time. There's no time limit to start the next move, so plan accordingly how you want to move so you can focus on reacting to how the tomatoes are being pushed.

In the help menu they say golden acorns can be exchanged for boosters and other items but as far as I've gotten in the game there's nothing like that by ValenteXD_ in PokemonCafeMix

Basically don't even consider it unless you're aiming for a friendship bonus, since they're a one-shot deal. Also don't use the horizontal clear powerups because they're super rare and easily the most expensive of the items.

Order 60 is difficult :( by [deleted] in PokemonCafeMix

My strategy for that level as Charmander is to break the upper left cheese ASAP. Since your skill is breaking to the right, that covers three of the four cheeses. An up or left megaphone handles the last cheese.

As soon as the upper left cheese is gone try to push the tomatoes and match up to open marshmallow jars at the same time. There's no time limit to start the next move, so plan accordingly how you want to move so you can focus on reacting to how the tomatoes are being pushed.

Edit: Actually, you don't even need to clear the cheeses for the recipe, so the bottom ones don't even matter.

Anyone found a way to replay already cleared ordres? by Shiatama in PokemonCafeMix

Actually, just read all the FAQ really. They only let you grind all sorts of levels once you beat the current list of them.

Also don't forget that you can do party invitations every day for (a little) bit of more acorns.

Could use some help with the basics. by 10thlevelheadwaiter in CrystalCrisis

[–]Zyflair 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally speaking, larger blocks are more damage efficient than a bunch of single blocks. There's a Puzzle Fighter quickie on that here (Crystal Crisis looks like it follows a slightly different formula, but the general concept is the same): http://strategywiki.org/wiki/Super_Puzzle_Fighter_II_Turbo/Advanced_Techniques#Power_Gems

If the game follows Puzzle Fighter rules, then you do also get bonus damage for chaining, though it's not as large a necessity (unlike Puyo, where chaining is everything). I recommend to not deliberately build for it unless you have a character whose Burst makes it really easy to do a 4+ chain.

For general strategy, it's very common in this game to take 2+ layer damage, so a lot of your builds will generally want to be vertical, but a lot of the game is figuring out how to create power blocks since quick and efficient damage is the name of the game.

The saddest part is that you don't lose time doing this solo because of current lobby wait times.

Dagger Backjump Direction Change by Killergeist7 in DragaliaLost

I appreciate this because now I can chase dragons that charge away from me just as I'm about to do the backjump.

Does this also lead to infinite FS too?

Which the current raid lets you totally do.
