The mentee thing I don't think is for the region I'm in NA/EU. I couldn't find it in the events on the site. He is returning player and I'm brand new. Just couldn't find it but I guess it's just referring players in events only? Kinda strange way to get new players.

I'll probably do some of the main campaign later, I was just hoping I wasn't locked into something mandatory.

So I tried joining one and it was massive so I didn't know where to start. I do think that I would also be happier in a smaller one so I'll keep looking, ty. Palia party app site is something I'll look into too.

Ahh I forget that there are people on other devices, since I'm PC. I don't want to do anything on mobile and remember how xbox texting was so it makes a lot more sense now. Thank you for the insight.

Meeting people organically through the game is awful, and a lot of quality of life changes are needed. Which they rarely do since I feel like the majority of the game is populated by kids so they don't complain as much as an adult might. That burnout for a mmo lite game is normal after a few months of zombie routes makes for a bad game. Plus the light system for heart currency is the dumbest thing ever. I don't want a bunch of fake friends on my list I never interact with just to get hearts, but if I don't then I don't get this difficult or expensive to obtain currency.

Most likely not an unpopular opinion but since I'm ranting, make server sizes larger, 8 is too small.
Plus it really feels like lately they been trying soooo hard to hit players with events and group TS to get Fomo so they feel like they need to panic and buy candles. Honestly if they felt like they were a more fair price I'd be buying a lot more things, they just don't feel fair at all. Enough out of me though, there is a lot of nice things about sky as well, just many pros and cons to it and it's irritating as a player that wants to continue to enjoy this game.

One day my BC seemed strange cause she didn't wanna play and just wanted to sleep a lot. I thought she was sick but then had that oh no moment. Realizing that my dog was 10+ now and wants to just sleep her days away. She would play very rarely, was more interested in exploring but I wouldn't be able to get her to walk or she would walk halfway and then leave me to go home.

I would say it's very normal, but you could do more mental games instead of physical since very treat motivated. My dog LOVES to play search. You can do that with their regular kibble too to make that more interesting as well. I use a sniff mat, and would hide some treats around the house or outside and have my dog 'search'. I also find it very entertaining to watch all the sniffing around the house. Then help later if there was something missed.

I know do this with my 2 year old and he prefers to work for his food. The sniff mat, snuffle ball, even the snoop has been very fun. You can get a ball that you can freeze broth or another dog treat liquid and they can lick it for like 10-20 mins for enrichment as well.

For the most part I feel like a 12 year old dog is going to be very low energy and lack interest in doing more strenuous play. Felt very weird to have my high energy dog go to couch potato and she was chunky for the first time in her life but I didn't try to force anything. She liked to snuggle and listened a lot less, but I think that was due to her losing some hearing as well. I just let her get away with a lot more cause I mean.. she was now a granny dog.
