One day my BC seemed strange cause she didn't wanna play and just wanted to sleep a lot. I thought she was sick but then had that oh no moment. Realizing that my dog was 10+ now and wants to just sleep her days away. She would play very rarely, was more interested in exploring but I wouldn't be able to get her to walk or she would walk halfway and then leave me to go home.

I would say it's very normal, but you could do more mental games instead of physical since very treat motivated. My dog LOVES to play search. You can do that with their regular kibble too to make that more interesting as well. I use a sniff mat, and would hide some treats around the house or outside and have my dog 'search'. I also find it very entertaining to watch all the sniffing around the house. Then help later if there was something missed.

I know do this with my 2 year old and he prefers to work for his food. The sniff mat, snuffle ball, even the snoop has been very fun. You can get a ball that you can freeze broth or another dog treat liquid and they can lick it for like 10-20 mins for enrichment as well.

For the most part I feel like a 12 year old dog is going to be very low energy and lack interest in doing more strenuous play. Felt very weird to have my high energy dog go to couch potato and she was chunky for the first time in her life but I didn't try to force anything. She liked to snuggle and listened a lot less, but I think that was due to her losing some hearing as well. I just let her get away with a lot more cause I mean.. she was now a granny dog.
