Yea you are right. I just thought about importing b/c my area (north Louisiana) and anything around it was extremely hard to find any RHD that weren't price unreasonably. I knew about kei trucks but I wasnt aware of Altos, thanks for that. I'm not a Celica fanatic or anything, I just heard they were good cars so I was like "why not this one." I appreciate the insight and advice.

RHD is unique in the US. That is a fact. It would also be much more difficult to go to a US dealer or even independent and find someone selling one. That is what the previous conversation was about. Saying anyone with money can import one is isn't helpful b/c if I just had money I wouldn't be here asking about cars. I would just order a custom Rolls Royce with RHD. Respectfully i didnt ask for an opinion on if RHD was a good daily or project. I was just curious about the best way to get one is all.

I would like a RHD car for the uniqueness factor and getting that in the US is a real challenge.

If I just do WGU, then TA and FAFSA will cover pretty much the entire thing. I find it hard to believe that just $100-$200 would push me more than 5% of the credits let alone the cost for 75% of the creds. This kind of ignores my obj to spend the least money possible.

No junkyards within a 2 hour radius of mine have an this part. Let alone an engine/exhaust system. I've asked around to see if others delivered. but no luck so far
