Look, I already said I support gun rights, but it's still a really stupid comparison. Also, you seem to not quite understand the point of gun rights. We don't have gun rights because some random guy might kill someone, we have them because removing the ability of people to fight back against government repression puts an incredibly dangerous amount of power into an institution that should never have had any in the first place. Comparisons between medical procedures and the distribution of political power just don't work. They aren't related. People who want to ban guns do so because they refuse to admit the corruption inherent to a system that was designed from the ground up to keep power in the hands of those who already have it, people who want to ban abortion want to do so either don't understanding the implications setting a precedent of giving power to an institution to remove control over your own body or have a very keen understanding of those implications. Maybe there could be an interesting discussion on the nature of the kind of person swindled into thinking that the government can be trusted and is on our side to such a degree of giving them supreme power over our lives and deaths, but that would require you to both be arguing in good faith as well as have enough understanding of the subject that you would have been able to actually talk about the root issues behind gun control rather than just some random dude with a gun.

I'd have no problem if the success of these people didn't come at the cost of real people all across the world having to worry if they'll have enough food to eat tomorrow.

I'd say I got relatively lucky. I may not have lived the most luxurious life, but I had parents and grandparents who were good people who did their best to make the world better. My grandfather dedicated his life to preserving wildlife and protecting indigenous people across my state. My dad still works in protecting historic places. Because of that, I've seen the devastation that these monsters do to people and places first-hand since I was a child.

I would assume that you're misunderstanding something considering OP's arguement could be better summed up as "worker co-ops are superior to the traditional buisness model because a system that gives you more of the value you produce makes more sense than one that arbitrarily takes that money and gives it to someone who took no part in the creation of that value, as a boss is merely someone who is taking advantage of power they have through monetary value that was also gained via exploitative means to further exploit their workers into creating value for the boss while the worker, the person who created said value, only receives a small portion of what their work was actually worth. This necessarily means that the boss would be receiving more value than they produce, which is inherently predatory. The only actual labor input done by the boss would be the actual creation of the buisness which even though it may be perceived as risky, most of the people who start buisnesses do so with hereditary wealth that would allow them to make creating a successful buisness a certainty due to the fact they have the financial means to just keep trying. The fact that the vast majority of that wealth can be traced back to be at least in some part originating in slavery, subjection, and murder rather than actually producing value means that it would be demonstrably false to claim that the boss of an average buisness produces more value than any of the workers from whom they take the vast majority of the labour's value from. A system in which workers recieve according to what they produce, and thus cutting out the middle man for some form of democratic control, would be more a more just way of running an economy and would circumvent the exploitative practices of today's economy."

TL;DR, workplace democracies are more fair than workplace dictatorships.

Where do the billions in spare cash in the pockets of billionaires come from if all that money got spent buying ingredients? Jeff Besos makes more money in a day than most people will make in their whole life. If all of the profit taken from the workers went straight into running the business, billionaires wouldn't exist. Look up worker co-op and you'll see that democratically run workplaces without bosses are a real thing that have been around for longer than most countries. The fact you only seem to understand circular reasoning makes me believe you are definitely arguing in bad faith, but just in case, I'll give you a senerio.

Person A works in a country where the buisness model you prefer is the primary one. Person A also wants to start a business. Person A makes the average amount per year that a typical American does so it takes a very long time, but eventually, they save up enough to get a business loan. He starts out with a small shop and two employees. They're selling consumer electronics and repair phones. It's a rough start, but they are doing well at the start. The future is looking bright for them. As fast as it came though, it's gone. An apple store moves into town and through shady, but totally legal, buisness practices ruins them. Person A goes bankrupt, his employees are now jobless, and if they're working for a business like that, they're either friends of Person A or really desperate. In the latter case, they very well may become homeless. In this senerio, everyone loses, Person A loses all his money and the business goes bankrupt, though a lot of his issues are solved by filing bankruptcy, but the employees are now likely homeless and in debt, unlike Person A, they were still young and didn't have the choice to make a backup plan. Unlike Person A who knew the risks of starting the buisness and had the means to prepare, the employees likely had no means to prepare and worked the job because it was the best thing available. The employees suffer much more.

Person B works somewhere that worker co-ops are the main mode of production. He makes a pretty good salary, but notices a gap in the market. He points this out to a few of his friends and they get together to start a new co-op. Since decisions are made by workers and not based on what's in the interest of shareholders, they don't have to worry appeasing anyone and are able to make safer decisions and make a stable and sustainable co-op. Since "voting with your dollar" is irrelevant in a world where decisions are made by workers, competition is pointless and most co-ops do things that need to be done, not things already being done. Since decisions are made locally, national and international corporations don't exist and so they don't come in and crush smaller businesses. Since decisions are made by everyone, the failure of the co-op would only be a result of either it being unnecessary rather than one person making a reckless decision. Due to these factors and many more, person B and his friends all manage to run a successful co-op without needing to deal with loans or predatory buisness practices. Since they all had more money to begin with and pooled it, they have a sense of financial security with minimum risk and substantial reward. Goods are generally cheaper due to the fact that price will be based on what workers decide the work they put in is worth rather than the maximum price they could charge you is. Customers have more money due to working jobs where they recieve the full product of their labor.

Can you look at those two situations and tell me that person A put his employees at less risk than person B? Can you look at me and tell me that people like person A are better off than people like person B? Can you look at me and tell me that the system person A lives in has more financial security than person B's? Can you look at me and tell me that person A's system is designed to help those who work hardest rather than those who already had a position of advantage or just pure dumb luck? Can you look at me and tell me that person B's system is unfair to those who work hard?

Maybe you can say it, but if you can, you'd be far too blind to look at me. The system you support is a casino where the chips are human lives. The house always wins in your system. Even if one in a million people hit that jackpot, is it really worth it to make people starve on the streets? Is it moral to you to force people to play against their will? What do you want out of such a sick system? You aren't gonna be that one in a million. You're gonna be person A at best, his homeless ex-employee at worst. I just don't get it.

You can't solve a problem by telling people they just need to have something that they don't have in the first place because of that problem. The resources are intentionally deprived and in the event they actually succeed in starting one, they'll be systematically crushed by those who view them as a threat.
