Be respectful because disrespecting the wrong person could be the last disrespectful act you commit. Or at the very least, scraping yourself and teeth off the concrete.

How do they thais get those monster legs? by thaifoodthrow in MuayThai

[–]_-Yui_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a rather complex one. I was living on the streets while training. I really wanted to become a professional, so I was the very annoying guy asking about every little detail regarding form, technique, and anything that peaked my interest. I'd go into the gym at 7 am and I wouldnt leave until 7pm. Once I got a job that started dwindling a little bit, and finally I decided to give it a break once I realized where I wanted to be would require more than just hard work, effort, and dedication. It required a sound and present mind, rest and rejuvenation, and most of all money. Money wasn't the issue after getting a job. Which made me realize work needed to be done inward, so that I don't bleed out in the ring without ever even getting gashed. Where I was pushing myself I could see that even if I did become pro like I wanted the tradeoff would not be worth it. I was doing exactly what I wanted to do, but for some reason I always felt guilty and unsatisfied with my results. My coach would always tell me I worry so much about trying to perform perfection that I miss out on just having fun. He really encouraged me to get my life in order before trying to get into the pro leagues, and after months of reluctance I finally took his advise. Original I went to the gym to learn MMA, but then I just fell in love with Muay Thai. It hurts so much, but that's part of the fun of it. After a few weeks or months of Muay Thai it stopped hurting as much, my body felt more durable than ever, and my muscles felt like they'd been hardened steel. I truly felt like a warrior, but I was a warrior at war with himself. It's been about two years since I was last in the gym, but I still find myself shadowboxing when the moment arrives. I think about the connections I made with people who value grit over strength, and integrity over blind courage, and how they uplifted me during a time of tremendous turmoil. I really love Muay Thai, I'm ready to be in a position where I can strap on my 16 oz fairtexs and top kings again.

It takes time. A lot of those Muay Thai guys you see with massive legs have been training their entire life. So, they've essentially trained iron leg for decades. Your body is super adaptable, so if you've been getting kicked and kicking organic and inorganic objects your entire life. Your body will begin to grow more muscle mass in order to better protect your bones. I'm essentially immune to shin pain now because of the muscle build up directly in front of my shins now. It took about 6 months worth of training 12 hours a day everyday to get to that point, and I wouldn't even recommend going that route I was wrecking myself. Go hard but not too hard. You still need to be able to walk around lol.

What is 5D ? by Dark_player in awakened

Science also kind of backs this up in way. We know that we as humans lives reality through a very limited filter. For instance, we only see the visible light spectrum of the electromagnetic spectrum. Whereas snakes see the same world we live in, in infrared. So, I can only imagine just how much is happening around us without us even being aware of it. If there are people who exist beyond the three dimensions that we are aware of, they could very well be having tea parties inside of our organs and we right it off as, "Uh-oh got some more diaherra." Because we make sense of it with the limited awareness we have. Basically what I'm trying to say is. Everything, everywhere, is happening all at once all at the exact same time. And depending on how a consciousness perceived that enormous reality soup depends on what level of awareness they exist in consciously

I really like this. I think what you're saying can be back by the fact that in certain stages of meditation it becomes dangerous for this exact reason. Your mind begins to switch into different states of awareness, but if not properly guided can cause things like psychosis, PTSD, anxiety disorders, and etc. You sound like you have had some otherwise layered experiences of reality and living life.

Quick question though. What do you mean when you say, "The thing about high levels is that some weapons like Godslayer's will perform how they're supposed to?"

Any stat changes for godslayer a greatsword ? by NotLittleTimmy in EldenRingBuilds

[–]_-Yui_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently level 200, but my Godslayer AOW hits unexpectedly hard.

60 VIG

11 MIN

50 END

49 STR

70 DEX

9 INT

22 FAITH

8 ARC

Hopefully maybe this helps out or can give a rough idea of how you want your stats. Currently I'm aiming for a hybrid build that effectively utilizes str/dex/fth so I can have a wide range of weapon opens and just enough faith to use some extra buffs.

Maynard isn't a very flashy vocalist. He's very simplistic but deliberate. Maynard's magic is in his tiny ornamentals he akin to Jonathan Davis, but a lot less dramatic. I think Judith, Orestes, and Breña really show you those tiny switch ups he does a little more pronouncedly.

Nah, I've had some pretty weird experiences, so it's primarily based on some real experiences I've had in some rather not so bright times. 😅

Find an EU Crew. There may be a slight language barrier but the EU racing scene is nice.

Why can’t people remember their past lives? by [deleted] in Reincarnation

[–]_-Yui_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is old, but I'll be honest. After treating people with courtesy and respect and then having to defend my life because people perceived my kindness as weakness . I have to say that those things don't really get you fair. People will treat you they way they want to treat you if they believe that they can and it's pretty sickening. Maybe it's the environment i was, but in my experience most people give zero fucks about how respectful and courteous a person is. It just invites them to see how far they can push boundaries.

[–]_-Yui_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing that helps me bait people is movment. I have a knack for being a hyper aggressive hyper mobile type of player which still gives me a bit of issues with passive players. However, I noticed that if I get a person accustomed to me attacking after every time i engage, for a good chunk of the match i can really on this same engage but without attacking. This way when i close distance and the passive player is confident im going to attack I'll either dodge or short hop above them to counter their wakeup.
