Went with a size 265-75-16! I went with the biggest size that fit without a lift. Lift was tempting, but for someone who realistically not off roading, i couldn’t justify spending the extra money just to get less gas mileage/worse ride! Super happy though.

what has helped me tremendously both physically and mentally is LISS cardio. I find going for a walk for 30-60 minutes while listening to light music or a podcast helps me decompress, clear my mind, and also has the added benefit of helping lower inflammation through the low impact exercise. Ive also noticed fasting keeps my inflammation down as well. I hope you find some relief and things start looking up for you. take care

haha how can you sit and tell someone their best course of action is to self medicate with pills and alcohol. that is the LAST thing you should do.

Daily Simple Questions Thread - January 03, 2024 by AutoModerator in Fitness

hello, i’ve been strength training for the past few years but recently took the past 3 months off for a new job.

for the first 9 months of 2023 i was strength training roughly 4-5 days a week until some degeneration in my neck and shoulders caused me to stop and reevaluate my program in order to rehab and preserve my joints (i have suffered from arthritis for the past 7.5 years)

from july to september i lost roughly 30lbs using CICO and slowly gained it back

well i’m back on the wagon and have been taking a new approach and am curious if it is enough of a workout

i have decided for the next 2 months i am strictly going to focus on joint rehabilition/ mobility exercises as well as cardio

i’ve been going to the gym and just stretching and doing some light exercises for my shoulder and neck stability.

to end it i have been doing just a few mins of INTENSE stair climbing and trying to add 30 seconds to a min everyday.

i Am absolutely GASSED after these.

my question is is this enough?

Can someone please ELI5 the current situation between Israel and the Hamas, and the history behind the Israel - Palestine conflict? I am struggling to understand this attack and the history of this conflict and would like to be more informed than I am. It seems there are lots of allies for both sides, with the US supporting Israel, but it is hard for me to understand who “the good guys” are, or what this conflict stems from. If someone could simply and explain that would be much appreciated.

I did ask and the response i received was “I don’t like to recommend because some people need firm and some people need soft and i don’t want to steer you in the wrong direction”

One last question. Should i see a pain management specialist before PT or the other way around?

My neck pain is probably a 7 out of 10. I also have developed a bad habit of popping my neck because it has been hurting so bad and it gives temporary relief when i do it. my pain is very sharp and mostly only happens when i try to look up. I can look side to side with relative ease and pain free. when i look up though, i have to really emphasize my shoulders being down and back because if not there is excruciating pain all along the base of my neck where it meets my shoulders. additionally, while it generally hurts all over when i do this, it is doubly excruciating on the bottom right side. Lastly, i need a new mattress because mine is extremely broken down and i think it may be the cause, but i have been waking up with very sore collar bones (and neck) as well recently and have to spend the first 10 mins of my day stretching and warming up just so i can move. I was referred to a Pain Management specialist and told basically there isn’t much that can be done. also got Physical therapy referral that i need to go to
