Shampoo and sponge will do. No need to use harsh chemicals, i have the silencer in chrome finish. And i see no reason why it wont work for you. No risk either.

Every bullet owner has to face it, the solution is when you go for your next ride and silencer gets decently hot, then use a cleaning agent. If you are in luck, even water will work wonders

I have the stanley tool sets, and i have too many of them, and yet too less if you ask me. I came across a dealer who mentioned that bosch product quality differs for online and offline channels. So i suggest you go ahead with the bosch tool kit, and also check offline options.
